Favourite Videogame Protagonist: Sonic the Hedgehog, The Sonic the Hedgehog Series

Reasons:

Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever owned.

I have never played a Sonic game I didn't like and I enjoy all the other characters from his games and comics as well.

I like the action-oriented gameplay he creates, and becoming Super Sonic is just plain fun.

Very few video game characters are successful in other medias, but Sonic's comics and shows are a lot of fun too.

Favourite Videogame Antagonist: Ganondorf Dragmire, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time & The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker

Reasons:

I don't mean the Ganon in the other Zelda games. The one from Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker is seperate from the original.

Ganondorf was the King his people and succeeded in taking over Hyrule for seven years while Link was sealed away.

In both games Ganondorf was always around, doing things and in control of the entire situation. Link could only struggle against him.

Ganondorf USED Link to open the Temple of Time in OoT and in both games he USED Link to reveal Zelda's location.

Ganondorf didn't fear anyone for a second. Ever. Even when sealed he just smiled, laughed and just plain KNEW he would get out.

At the end of OoT he actually pulled off the 'villian comes back stronger' bit and really made it work. I loved when that happened.

In Wind Waker he didn't need to transform or anything. Not even magic. He just fought as a human with a sword, and was TOUGH!

In both games Link was no match for him. Without Zelda helping him Ganondorf could have killed either of the two.

Two games, two SPECTACULAR defeat scenes. And he didn't really 'die' in either, so you know he's coming back.

Ganondorf is the proof that all villian cliches exist for a reason. He has almost all of 'em, and just plain makes it WORK!

There's enough people droning on about why he's so great. I'll just stand behind them and pretend I'm talking.

Favourite "Villian"(Comics/Movies/TV):Chase Young, Xiaolin Showdown

Reasons:

I don't even watch Xiaolin Showdown and I love this villian. He has to be good for that to happen.

Of the episodes I have seen only the ones with this guy are memorable.

He turns good guys evil. That's his specialty. Then he transforms them in to obedient animal slaves andwhen he does he gains all their power.That's awesome.

The ultimate martial arts master AND he turns in to a dragon/lizard beast. Sounds like Liu Kang from Mortal Kombat. Except he's 100 evil.

Did I mention he's literally immortal?

This guy turns every defeat in to some sort of victory through incredibly complex plans and schemes. It's almost impossible for him to lose completely. Sounds annoying, but his plans are so good it's hard to not love it.

Kingdom Hearts: The Secret Worlds

Sonic Fusion

After their adventure in Sonic Heroes, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are better at working together than ever before, but now that Eggman has his empire back he's ready to put that teamwork to the test. A mysterious machine he's invented allows him to fuse machines together for peak performance from every aspect, but what will happen when the three adventurers wander in to the machine? Fusix is born! Unfortunatly, he's got no memories of who he is or what he's capable of and Eggman wants him for experimentation! Fusix will have to discover his three pasts as he runs from Eggman's hunters and tries to save the world on pure instinct. Too bad he has poor instincts.

When Link arrived in Termina while searching for Navi it was no accident. The land was facing a terrible fate and only the Hero of Time had the special skills needed to save it. But when Link was overcoming the trials he faced there, where was Locke? His own destiny was calling him away as well, to Link's homeland of Hyrule. What threats awaited the Hero of Space? Ones that he alone could overcome, in the form of an ancient evil thought long defeated and a mysterious cult. Locke will need to make new allies, find new weapons, and learn new skills in order to win back what has been stolen from him and fulfill a promise to a new friend. Love or Happiness?

A collection of oneshots depicting possible events throughout Link's life. All stories exist along the same timeline. Link goes from saving the world to being sent back to reclaim his lost time. He tries for a normal life, but duty calls when Hyrule enters a war with a neighboring country. Link's attempts to have a normal life are shattered and even after the war he remains unable to find his place in the world.. With some guidance from various people that he trusts, he just might find the life he was meant to have, whether it be normal or not. Chapters are: Saria, Malon, Nabooru, Ruto, Zelda and Link. All chapters are from the POV of their namesake.

Not Another Player in Hyrule?

A simple story about a guy who reads too much fan fiction and then gets pulled in to a video game, just like in the stories he likes to read. Convinced he's dreaming and is completely invincible, he leads Link on the quest to save Hyrule and drives the hero nuts with his complete knowledge and numerous near-death experiences. A parody of "real people in video games" stories.

Untitled Co-Op

After myself and another fan fiction writer meet on fanfiction.net we realize we are eerily similar. Soon after, we are mysteriously pulled in to our copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and meet up in Hyrule, where we are told we are both failed clones of one of it's inhabitants. Final Fantasy VII: Destiny's Child

My first attempt at a serious Final Fantasy VII fic. I don't know why my only FF fics are for VII, but I can't control what inspires me I suppose. Here's the set-up: After the events of Advent Children the planet once again has the spirit of Sephiroth in the Lifestream. As long as he remains there Jenova will continue to try and ressurrect him and use him as it's host to fulfill it's unnatural goals. The planet makes it's decision. In order to protect itself it must place it's greatest threat back in to the world. Sephiroth is being reincarnated as a new child. However, Jenova's presence will continue to make Sephiroth different. Even the recycling of his soul can't erase who he once was, even if the man himself did terrible deeds only under the forceful will of another. The Planet has to be sure that Sephiroth's new life will allow him to grow up differently and stay strong against the Calamity from the Skies. It makes it's choice on what to do, but it comes with a great risk. It will place Sephiroth's soul in the care of those who have fought against all forces in order to protect it. Will this allow the new life to become pure in it's second chance, or will Jenova find a way to break through? Only one thing is certain. Cloud and Sephiroth are connected through fate. Now it's up to the Planet's champion to raise it's enemy. Cloud thought he was ready for fatherhood. He was wrong.
