Author has written 14 stories for Dark Tower series, Doctor Who, Avengers, Thor, Sherlock, Supernatural, and Good Omens. Hi! Welcome to my homepage; I’m Kaitou Jareth. Nice to meet you! You can probably tell from my name that I am a large fan of both Jim Henson’s movie “Labyrinth” and the manga by Yukiru Sugisaki, “D.N.Angel.” I also love all books by Diana Wynne Jones, especially her Chrestomanci tales and Dogsbody (and Howl’s Moving Castle, but hey, for me, that goes without saying). Neil Gaiman is both my hero and my favorite author. A rabid and passionate Whovian, I also love BBC's Sherlock, The Avengers, Merlin, Supernatural, and a lot of other quality things that I'm forgetting at the moment. Reading is easily my favorite pastime, and my bookshelves are packed full of my favorite stories, series, and authors, which mostly feature fantasy fiction or classic literature. I tend to write drabbles. My best pieces are when I'm given short prompts to work with and free reign from there, and most of those have been posted here. As of today, I haven’t uploaded much in the way of substantial writing to the site (as you can easily see). I don't tend to write extended works, but I do have three works that are currently in progress. The first, "Turn Out the Lights," is a three-part post-Reichenbach Sherlock fic that deals with John and Sherlock's reactions to Sherlock's death. Parts one and two have been written and posted, and part three is still mostly in brainstorming mode. The second, "Protect What's Yours," is my response to the Superwholock Omens crossover (that's Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Good Omens), and I hope to continue writing it in the future. The third, "What Not to Do," is a series of short drabbles based on a list that a very creative individual wrote of things the members of the Avengers team shouldn't do. I hope to start up on writing those again pretty soon. I have nothing left to say, so please regard me kindly! Kaitou Jareth Addendum: I'm more frequently updating my Archive Of Our Own account, which is under the username thatsweetmysteryoflife. | |||||||
