Author has written 15 stories for Harry Potter, Robin Hood BBC, and Doctor Who.

Me~

The only thing I love more than reading a good story is trying to write one (of course, the first is a great deal easier to do than the second…)

21. Curly hair, straightened only for special occasions. Never dyed my hair, never pierced my ears, never plan to do either. I love running... but manage to run into injuries, a LOT. And rowing and I have an on/off again thing. Good driving jet-skis, bad driving cars.

I am the queen of procrastinators, and spending more & more time on original writing lately... which I'm afraid means my updates/new stories tend to be few and far-between.

But I'm really, really thrilled some of you like my writing enough to come back whenever I post something. It means the world to me~ thanks to all my wonderful reviewers & fanfiction friends. You're the best! ;D

The stories~

Harry Potter, my main stomping ground: / In-progress:

Wheezy: Chapter 9's

No Nay Never: Ever wonder why so-and-so wasn't in the First Order? A bundle of one-shots, again coming s-l-o-w, for many's the plot bunnies I have in great store ;D

/ Completed / Chapter Fics

Fools: My as-canon-as-possible take on the Prewetts brothers, Marlene McKinnon, the First War and exactly what the rest of the original Order thought of one Sirius Black. Nominee for 2008 Hourglass Award for Best Angst; Nominee for 2008 Best Review Lounge Drama/Adventure/Mystery/Suspense Fic, and Winner! of 2008 Review Lounge Award for Best Chapter Fic!

Banner for Fools, and my First Order tribute video that's loosely tied into Fools: All These Things I've Done

Thrice: My take on Lily and James, defying all the Dark Lord stands for together (thrice). Nominee for 2008 Review Lounge Best Chapter fic- lost to Fools!- and also for Review Lounge Award for Most Original Idea.

Banner for Thrice, and a Youtube Lily/James video to go with it: Death and All His Friends.

Oneshots

In Their Autumn Beauty: First Order on patrol in 1978. Featuring Dorcas Meadowes, Gideon (or is it Fabian?), and James & his intrepid gang.

Shimmering: Snape goes to Lily & James' weddding. (Well, he is a spy.) Angsty, but nonetheless inspired by the very happy little song Reel in the Flickering Light. Banner here!

Stray Thought, Brackets, and State of Mind: Respectively, Sirius' view of Marlene McKinnon (my version of her as featured in Fools), Marlene's view of herself, and Gideon Prewett's view of Marlene after she's the first of the Order to die. Can be read in any order and should stand alone; but I think they come off better if you've read Fools.

Oblige: My first Remus/Tonks, a missing moment near the end of OotP. Written for Gaby-Black's French Challenge, to use a French quote and some French words commonly used in English.

Echo: James Sirius Potter in his 1st year, armed with the Marauders map and his very best friend Wood. For the RL "Is it real?" challenge- fastest I've ever written a story.

Assumptions: The oldest piece of writing of mine up under this penname. I wrote it ages before I posted it, so it always surprises me when I get a review since I forget it's up here. Stylistically, a whole different kettle of fish from my other works. Fred/Angelina, written largely in response to a lot of Angelina-is-devasted-after-Fred-leaves-in-OotP fics I'd noticed. Probably the closest thing to fluff I've ever written, but since DH it has a totally different nuance that makes it... well, less fluffy.

Doctor Who/ In-Progress :

Venture: I meant these to be post-Journey's End oneshots but they became much more chapter-y- I'm sorry, I knew I'd never manage to keep that up and started anyways! So I'm going to try for 1-2 more. Hiatus, I suppose- sorry!

Robin Hood BBC / Completed:

Plight: Robin and Sherwood, after Marian. Allan's singing under his breath and the woods are calling Robin's name- my way of making Marian's pointless death worth it, plot/character-wise.

Someday Coming:

Dorcas Meadowes oneshot+. My version of her can be found in In Their Autumn Beauty and cameoing in Fools. She's been spinning around in my head for a while.

RL Fanon Challenge: Twist/contradict the fanon fact that Sirius Black played Quidditch. A LONG oneshot, coming this way.

And no promises, but on request, I'm trying a 2nd year fic for James II and Jack Wood making life interesting for Albus Severus (well, he IS asking for it, with that name...)

I, lyin', solemnly swear to review every story I read on fanfiction.net. No lyin'. (Check out the forum 'The Reviews Lounge.' I bounce around there sometimes ;D).

I like: Canon. Originality. Oneshots. (all I have time to read these days). Minor characters in any fandom. In-character AUs. Actual plots. ;D

Not a fan of: Slash (If it's believably canon, that's one thing. But mostly I can't buy it and don't get it.) Twincest (Gah). Wincest. Mpreg (really?!). The Author Avatar (from which springs the Sues, which are rampant in published fiction too. I believe characters always do and should get pieces of the author, but I hate it when they ARE the author, walking through a story like an actor. Nooooo). I especially dislike when canon characters are given personality makeovers to be paired with the canon guy the author finds most attractive. Argh.

I'll read any well-written story, especially with a great plot, but I am a sucker for certain ships (i.e. actively seek out to read whenever-wherever), and either have written or someday might:

Harry Potter: Any First War ship, but especially Lily/James; the fanfic love triangle of Sirius Black/Marlene McKinnon/Gideon Prewett; Fabian Prewett/Hestia Jones, though I also like Fabian/Dorcas Meadowes, namely Lady Altair's version; Fred/Angelina; Remus/Tonks; George/ not telling ;D (see Wheezy!)

I also like: Tamora Pierce (Alanna/George, Daine/Numair, Kel/Dom, Evin/Miri); Doctor Who (Ten/Rose- oh, c'mon, what else?); Robin Hood (Marian/Robin. not Guy.); X-Men (Remy/Rogue); The Office; Smallville (Clois!, Ollie/Dinah); Supernatural.

UPDATE: TV-show-wise, currently addicted to Heartland (so glad I get Canadian TV)

I mostly only post here since other sites give me headaches but, still, as lyin, you might stumble across me elsewhere.

I accept (and really appreciate) anonymous reviews, but i feel terrible not being able to reply/thank reviewer, especially when so many say such nice things! So if you don't mind getting a ramble from me about my thoughts on your review, please leave your e-mail so I can thank you. :)

Any questions, PM away. ;D
