Update 4/23/08: I would post this as an Author Note on "Hello, Again", but I don't want to give anyone false hope of an update via chapter alert. So - if you read this - please know that I will probably be unable to update again until Saturday, May 17th at the earliest. The first round of end of the year testing is coming up, so you can blame my horrendous lack of updates on prepping and general sleep-deprivation. But I'll have an update to you as soon as physically possible. I miss writing as much as I hope you miss reading :( Bear with me, please!

Some tidbits about me...

I'm one of those goodie-two-shoes, perfectionist types. I'm an indoor-sy person, love travel, museums, books, and movies. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons because I love snuggly sweaters, sweatpants, and hot cocoa. I live in Converse and ballet flats and am very excited that short nails are in style because I bite mine when I'm nervous or concentrating very hard. I wear glasses and throw my hair into a ponytail or braid at every opportunity. I have a habit of obsessing over a single song for about a week (that is, I listen to it exclusively), and then discovering another song to obsess about and starting the cycle all over again. I don't have pets, but someday I'd like a cat or two and maybe a goldfish, which I'd put in a bowl because I prefer goldfish bowls to goldfish tanks. I'm a sucker for "classic" or "vintage-y" stuff and have identified myself as a completely hopeless romantic because I love fairytales, the movie Titanic, all that...

Current song obsession: "Leavin'" Jesse McCartney, "I'm Yours" Jason Mraz, "Four Minutes" Madonna/JT/Timbaland, "Pain" Three Days Grace, "I Want to Be Buried in Your Backyard" Nightmare of You, "Better in Time" Leona Lewis...the list is really very long right now...

Favourite Movies: Little Miss Sunshine is my number one, but I love Titanic, Grease, High School Musical, A Beautiful Mind, Schindler's List, and The Last King of Scotland nearly as much.

Music, in general: Pretty much everything, except for really hard-core rap. I lean heavily toward rock and alternative, but there is the occasional hip-hop or country song that I obsess over. Songs that I still love, even past their obsession time: "Drops of Jupiter" by Train, "Grace Kelly" by Mika, "Ruby" by Kaiser Chiefs, "Thieving" by Lovedrug, "Lips of an Angel" by Hinder, "Your Guardian Angel" by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, "My Name is Trouble" by Nightmare of You...

Favourite Books: My favourite books get a special place on a special shelf in my room. I have to really love a book to put it on that shelf. Makes it easy for me to identify my favourite books of all time, which are, in no particular order: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen, Ballet Shoes by Noel Streatfeild, and A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens.

Favourite TV Shows: Extras, The Office, House M.D., Friends, Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Cashmere Mafia...
