Hi!
Well, I haven't written a great deal of fanfic, (though what I do write tends to be long and plotty! Especially my Epic novella, "JLA: Necessary Force", still ongoing) but I do enjoy reading it! So I thought it only fair to submit one or two myself and try to give a little where I've received so abundantly. :-)
What to tell? Oh, um, I'm a Canadian, (in western Canada) and a teacher/filmmaker/actor, and I'm trying to learn how to write better, which is really quite a trial and error process, isn't it?
Fandoms I really enjoy reading (and/or watching) include Comics, (both DC and Marvel, but especially the former) Harry Potter, Stargate SG-1, Gatchaman and Battle of the Planets, Star Trek TOS, DS9, and ENT, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Smallville, Lost, Farscape, Buffy, Firefly, and a few assorted other areas, including various anime(especially the fabulous Kyou Kara Maou, and the stellar Fullmetal Alchemist) and other cartoons, and older television shows too. I write original stories and fiction, and non-fiction too, and in terms of fanfic, I've really only dabbled in classic Star Trek, Doc Samson stories from the Incredible Hulk, (long time ago now) Gatchaman, and more recently Kyou Kara Maou, and especially comic book fic, specifically Justice League. (currently working on that JLA epic - thanks, Gwil and KungfuNurse, my beta-readers!) I also do a bit of beta-reading myself, for a few folks. :-)
Uh, not sure what else to put here (or what anyone would possibly care about!) but I'll add to it if any inspiration strikes!
