Hi there,I am reading on fanfiction.net for quite a while but I am pretty new at the whole writing stuff. I am trying to write in English but I am living in Germany and it isn't´t the language I grow up with, as a matter of fact even German is not my mother language, so bear with me if you find bad grammar mistakes and tell me them, small ones you can ignore.
I like reading Star Wars, Perry Rhodan(yes there are some good german books next to Faust, even though it's hard to believe and those are the Perry Rhodan series.) Harry Potter, John Grisham, Robert Ludlum, Agatha Christie, Naruto, Ranma 1/2, Teen Titans, Spiderman, One Piece, Kenshin, Claymore, Case Closed and W.I.T.C.H. (yes I like that, I think it is a very fine comic).
I really like the Harry Potter books, but for some strange reasons I find the life of the Marauders far more interesting then Harry's, but I often like side chars more then the protagonists.
In my free time I am hanging with my friends, reading books or fanfics or I am playing badminton.
About my stories:
Erinnerungen: Ich muss zu meinem Bedauern sagen, dass diese Geschichte momentan noch nicht bereit ist fortgeführt zu werden. Ich muss nun etwas passieren lassen, aber es ist schwer eine Handlung zu erfinden, die realistisch und gleichzeitig neu ist. Auch Zentauren oder Todesser im Wald zu finden währe wirklich langweilig und Hand aufs Herz davon gibt es schon genügend. Sobald ich eine Idee habe werde ich fortfahren. Außerdem musste ich feststellen dass es nochmal einer großen überarbeitung bedarf. Hier nochmal ein danke an Ginns die mir sehr geholfen habt, lest mal ihre Geschichten, sie ist wirklich eine gute Autorin.
The demon in me: It is my story of the four marauders, each one trying to defeat the demon in themselves. The development of a friendship and a story of four humans, trying to save what they hold as their dearest. I took it down from the site since I first need to write a real plot before continuing.
New Allies and new problems: I currently took it down from the site, because I intend to completely rewrite it.
Ninjas and Guardians : Perhaps the story I am most proud of, it is a Naruto / W.I.T.C.H. crossover, about Phobos being freed by some sound ninja and that he joins forces with Orochimaru. A few ninjas from Konoha will be send there and it will lead to an unusual situation as the villains of both worlds start to make their moves and it is up the Guardians, with some help of others, to thwart their plans. Guardian's Light is proofreading this story since chapter eight and I am eternally grateful for that.
The story happens between the two and a half year absence of Naruto and after season 2 of W.I.T.C.H.
Phobos : My newest project, this time a Harry Potter / W.I.T.C.H. crossover. Instead of letting the girls go to Hogwarts, this time only Phobos, as his punishment and Matt, to make sure Phobos stays in line. Can Hogwarts be prepared for a self-centered Prince and a Regent of Earth? It will play during OotP.
Good authors: During my time reading here I discovered some very good authors.
First of all:
babywhale512: If you have some time then check out her story, even if you don´t like W.I.T.C.H. she has a very good writing style and that story is one of the best I have ever read. The name is "What price Loyalty" http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3093578/1/
Mordred: Mordred has written the best Maurauder fanifc ever, it is really realistic and you can´t stop reading. The name of the story is "Forever alive" http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1461086/1/
Yorochisai has written some really good Naruto crossovers and if you want to read an amusing story so read this.
If you like a really funny story with some action and a certain spider so check out Arachnophobia by J. B. Writer. It must be one of the most funny stories I have ever read.
Lathis may it The Titans and the Lost boy or Dark Titans, both stories are a piece of genius, I would highly advise you to read them. Both are Ranma 1/2 and Teen Titans crossover.
Guardian's Light has some awfully good written W.I.T.C.H. stories, some of them even have elements of Naruto included so read them and enjoy.
Of course there are also much more authors around here who have also written good stories, maybe even better ones but this are the stories I liked must but I am just a regular reader and those are my favorites. You have to discover your favourite stories for yourselves ;)
About things I met here:
There are a few things that I saw in my four years on this site and thought I would voice this:
First: I do not condemn other peoples ideas, no matter how strange they may appear to me, it is everyones' right to write what they want and how they want. As I am making enough mistakes on my own I will not say anything about grammar or writing style.
But I have to mention that you, as an author, should try sticking to the canon, unless you are trying a comedy or satire. How often have I seen a story where people like Ino from Naruto or Ron Weasley from Harry Potter are written like perfect jerks, only caring for themselves or even trying to harm the others, usually it's a shallow Ino having an unhappy Sasuke as a mate until the humble and selfless Sakura saves them or Ron having enough of being next to a famous Harry Potter and either mistreats Hermione or/and betrays Harry and is often shown as a dumb and choleric person.
I am sad to say this but if there would be a comparison between Sakura and Ino to see who of them is more "shallow" it would be Sakura as it was her to end their friendship just because they had a liking in the same boy, something Ino did not, on the contrary she tried to continue it, she even tried to built Sakuras' character after they were rivals/enemies, as it could be seen in the preliminaries.
And to Ron, while he is pretty impulsive, he is not a anti Slytherin prejudiced git who charges at the instant things aren't going his way. He often has to fight with his emotions, like jealousy or insecureness, yet this are only signs of humanity and it is a proof of friendship that he returns to Harry as he overcame those feelings. Only because he did some mistakes, as everybody does at some point, it doesn't automatically follow he is a bad friend, his patronus is a dog, symbolizing a faithful companion, as did Sirius Animagus form. The fact that he is good at chess and can beat Hermione in this game of logic hints that while he hasn't got the booksmarts of her, he is quite intelligent, even though it doesn't automatically mean that everybody good at chess is a genius.
And for the sake of sanity, please stop calling Severus Snape "Sev", it really freaks me out and stay away from pairings like Dumbledore/Neville, Voldemort/Harrys long lost twin sister or Snape and Harry. Every time I come across some of this it makes me ask: What is wrong with you people? Snape hates Harry, Harry hates Snape and with hate I mean really hate.If his parents hadn't been Lily Evans as mother but instead any other woman on this planet and James Potter he would have let him die.
