I'm not good at witty/funny introductions so I'll just give you the basic info about me and my fan fiction and you can be on your way...

FANDOMS I'VE WRITTEN FOR: One Tree Hill, Veronica Mars, and Gilmore Girls.

MY WRITING PREFERENCE: As far as Veronica Mars and Gilmore Girls go, I've--so far--only been prone to writing strictly canon couplings (LoVe, JavaJunkies, Literati), just because they're the ones I'm most familiar with and, honestly, they're the ones I personally ship the most.

As you may or may not have noticed, most of the fan fiction I've written has been One Tree Hill and most of the One Tree Hill fan fiction I've written has been UC. The reason for this is that--with the exception of Leyton--every single canon ship that Monsieur Mark has dreamed up has been either too boring/too mushy/too bizarre and, not to mention, way too unfounded (coughBrucascough) for me to stomach writing in a canon framework. Don't get me wrong, I think that many of his characterizations and character developments have been, at best, acceptable--It's just his choice of couplings in the past few seasons that irks me in all the wrong places.

So instead, I took up the habit of writing any UC coupling that I feel I have the creative ability to realistically convey. As my username implies, my #1 UC ship is Chris/Peyton (more on why and how I came to love them later), but really, I ship pretty much every UC couple within the One Tree Hill spectrum and plan on attempting to write for all of them at some point. The only canon couple I think I will ever willingly write again is Leyton--they just always exude this sense of painful longing that is way too awesome for me to not love or to pass up writing about. I have tried writing the dreaded Brucas within an AU story (on account of a dare, mind you) but, even then, I don't think I can really peg them together or picture an alternative storyline for them in my head. Just the way it is.

THE ACTUAL FAN FICTION: My main focus right now is set on Transference, Sentiment Semantics, The Complete Guide To Insufficiency, and (my upcoming GG fic) Two, Two, Two Times the Something. I'm well aware that I've got several other stories which I need to tend to--The Truth in Your Eyes (Chris/Peyton); Need You To Need Me (Jake/Haley); My Haven, My Peyton (Nathan/Peyton)--and I do not plan on ever abandoning them BUT! considering that these were some of the first stories I have written, my writing was completely, 100 percent atrocious at the time. So it is for this reason that I have decided to take them down for a short while to undergo some serious re-editing and then, hopefully, I can re-post them soon and resume writing them without being weighed down by absolute shame of my previously horrendous writing skills. BUT THESE STORIES WILL DEFINITELY GET UPDATED AT SOME POINT. And I plan on following the same course of action on some of my earlier oneshots too.

Sadly to say, there are a couple of stories which are just way too far gone for me to care about or write well at all. This is the aforementioned Brucas story 'No Hesitation,' and the Peyton/Lucas/Brooke triangle story 'Love, Keep Us Together.' I do apologize profusely for anyone who is still keeping up with these stories (even though it has been over a whole year since I've updated either one), but I really am just not happy writing these stories at all anymore, and thankfully, I've realized this while the stories were still in the very early stages. They'll still be there if you wish to read them (although I wouldn't strongly advise it) but don't expect me to update.
