Author has written 40 stories for Law and Order: SVU, Stargate: SG-1, Bones, House, M.D., Sanctuary, Shakespeare, and NCIS. Hi! My name is Ellie (surprise surprise). I'm 17 and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I've been reading fan fiction for about 6 years now and I started with Law and Order:S.V.U. I started writing not long after that, mostly when I was bored in class, so my earlier stories are all ripped from notebooks and scraps of paper. I don't have as much time to write as I'd like- at the present moment I am in the middle of my final High School exams EVER- Which, for those who don't know the Australian school system, means the amount I study will undoubtedly effect how I go in these upcoming exams, which determines my ENTER score, which tells me what Uni degree I can get into- with the one I'm hoping for needing an ENTER of 98 (Melbourne University "Media and Communication"- I need to be in the top 2 percent of the state- gah!), and this may or may not determine the rest of my life... so long story short, for the moment I am saving my time for study, sleeping and pulling my hair out. I have a number of ships, but I usually support ships that are either established in the show or are very much hinted at deliberately by the writers- I'm not one to notice or look for ships that aren't obvious or that are figments of peoples imaginations. Some of my ships aren't really about seeing an intimate relationship, but more about examining the intricacies of the existing (or failed) relationship (e.g- Helen/John, Jibbs). I'm sick of T.V writers just dropping hints that are never expanded on or never resolved. I would rather two characters clearly not be together than to be left in limbo as a viewer... Sam/Jack anyone?! (just show us the ring already!) Anyway... My current ships are: Jack/Sam (Stargate SG1) Daniel/Vala (Stargate SG1) Bones/Booth (Bones) Angela/Hodgins- Hodgela (Bones) House/Cuddy- Huddy (House MD) Michael/Fiona (Burn Notice) Helen/Druitt (Sanctuary- though I'm more interested in how their relationship will evolve, rather than just establishing romance) Elliot/Olivia (S.V.U- I've changed my mind! I just want them to be friends! Soul mates can just be friends, right?) Jenny/Gibbs- Jibbs (NCIS... Again, I'm more interested in examining the 'what-ifs' of their relationship... but that's not to say I don't want her to come back!) Eric/Calleigh (C.S.I: Miami) Cal/Gillian (Lie To Me- More as friends...) A message from a fellow author die Seele ist immer frei: I AM SICK OF THE FOLLOWING ON FF.NET: People writing crappy summaries without proper punctuation or spelling. You could honestly have the best story in the world, but the summary drags it down and puts people off. People posting a whole bunch of stories in one shot and pushing down other stories. Hate that. Hate it, hate it, hate it! Nobody has time to review, and the author who posts all of the stories in the first place doesn't even take the reviews they get into consideration because they're too busy posting more, more, more! Stories that are blatant rip offs of other, better stories. I mean, COME ON! Get a mind. Seriously. People posting unpunctuated, misspelt stories that don't have paragraphs and instead are one massive blob of unreadable text. It really makes you wonder why you bothered when you click onto that. People who write, 'sorry if I suck, I'm only so-old'. You don't have to be a certain age to be a good writer. Sure, experience helps, but being a teenager doesn't make you a worse writer than some adults. If you're sick of it, too, then join the crusade and pass the message on!
