Hey, humans.
Lemme tell you a bit about myself. I’m 30, married and work as an editor at a suburban newspaper in the Midwest. My interests are many and varied. I started writing fan fiction about 15 years ago, starting out in the Mercedes Lackey fandom way back when fanzines were still on paper. I was an illustrator for several ’zines and wrote some extremely bad poetry and a couple stories for others. I then quit my fannish pursuits until I graduated from college about seven years ago. That’s when I started writing X-Men fanfic.
Some folks may remember me as the ficcer previously known as Saille… I honestly can’t remember if I ever posted anything on ff.net back in those days, though I did have an account. I wrote a bunch of stories starring Nightcrawler, including a few novel-length pieces. Then, due to a series of unrelated events, I quit writing. I missed it, so here I am. One of these days, I’ll get back to Kurt, but for right now I’m trying to warm back up to writing fiction after years of nothing but journalistic work. So, you may see random stories in many formats from many fandoms here, including challenge stories from the "Dawn of the Dead" 2004 remake as well as fic related to the Nightscrawlearth game on the Nightscrawlers forum.
Once I get around to letting people know I’m still alive, I’ll probably post some of the stories from my archive, which can still be found here, if you’re interested.
I'm also still a moderator at Nightscrawlers, and my lj can be found here.
