Author has written 17 stories for 24, X-Files, A Knight's Tale, Star Wars, Bones, and Dexter. Hi all and welcome to my profile. So this is the end of a chapter in my life and the beginning of another. Those of you that have taken the time to visit my profile and my stories in the past have likely realized that I haven't written or updated anything in many months. Things have changed in my RealLife that have taken me away from writing and they are changing even further. I've come to the realization that - unfortunately - writing is no longer a part of my life. I know that I leave so many unfinished stories and so many more that I haven't even begun to write and it kills me. I briefly entertained the idea of quickly wrapping up those stories that I left unfinished, but I felt that it would be too great a disservice to those stories. Maybe another writer will take my stories and finish them or maybe one day in the future, I may return and finish them myself. For now, I will just have to live with them as they are - incomplete and a little rough around the edges - a reflection of my own life. A life that I've chosen to write instead of the lives of these other worlds that we all have loved to visit. I've posted the last few pages that have been sitting, unfinished on my hard drive and then that's all I have. In fact, I'm expecting that the email address that I have linked to this account may even disappear - although I may open an account through one of the free email providers so that I won't be lost forever. Regardless, I'd like to take this last opportunity to thank everyone here who has written the many wonderful stories that I've enjoyed over the years and who has read my humble words and especially those who have taken the time to tell me that they appreciated my efforts. And, as a former dedicated writer, I'd like to remind everyone that it is almost a simple courtesy to take a few moments to review if you have read someone's words. Even a short "great chapter" is appreciated by every writer... something a little more in depth is usually cherished. Please remember that most are writing for the pure enjoyment of turning a phrase, developing a character, working a plotline, but it is the knowledge that someone else is enjoying and awaiting the next update that drives us to our keyboards when the enjoyment starts to fade.
