Alright, some people might have noticed my change in name and decided to investigate. I was BloodHeron when I remembered what my symbolism was about, and then I forgot. Now I'm GraphiteHeron, because Graphite seems so much more unique and less, well, teenaged and angsty. Now, if anyone's waiting with held breath for an update on any of my anime-fandom works...don't. They're all abandoned due to technical difficulties (like changing computers and having no way to transfer files - oh, and growing the hell up might have also thrown a wrench in things...).

Anyway, welcome to my profile. If you feel like chatting, message me and I'll likely respond within the day. I'm actually much friendlier in conversation than I am writing messages about which stories of mine are or are not going to be updated.

My favorite TV programs are Criminal Minds, White Collar, and In Plain Sight. Favorite computer games include Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate and other fantasy RPG sword-and-sorcery wonderlands, now majorly including the Dragon Age series. My friends call me the Grammar Nazi (though I dislike being called a Nazi, I am rather strict about propper speech). I am well-acquainted with hair dye, but I don't wear makeup. That's my surface in a nutshell. You're not here to read paragraphs of narcissistic rambling about my age, hobbies, favorite movies, etc...

Also - I'm a physically female/psychologically male transgender who went through a borderline-psychotic teenager-dom. If you're interested. And I'm not assuming you are, but if you look at my years-old-abandoned fics and think to yourself, "Why in the world would he/she/it/they/them think it a good idea to post that where someone could actually read it?!" Well, there's your answer.

Tension Point: ABANDONED. My muses ran away with my plot and my writing skills deteriorate after chapter one. It's not worth the effort of reading or writing anymore.

The Stray Cat: ABANDONED. Don't hold your breath. It's crap. Why I posted it...I'd say I was drunk, but I don't drink. Like my liver too much.

Sick: ABANDONED. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm out of the Naruto fandom entirely and I don't know if I'll ever be back. I'm getting too old for this.

Love is What You Make of It: ABANDONED. I tried. I failed. Moving on.

Dreams of Evil: ABANDONED. Just finished was my fave, the necro, tortured at the whim of Duriel, but I can't post. But all the same, Amousca, your fave ain't the only one suffering my insanity. Now all this darkness is just going to have to be taken up by someone else. Not like the fandom isn't dark enough without me adding to it.

Chasing the Moon: Neverwinter Nights, Hordes of the Underdark, as told by Shrayla. A Chaotic Good werewolf trying to make her place in the world, featuring Valen Shadowbreath as not-the-love-interest. This one I might still write in if anyone is interested in it. I got tired of reading PC/Valen romance, decided for a more sibling-esque relationship and a PC who is not a sorceress or a paladin. Shrayla is a little ass-backwards and more chaotic than good. I also wanted to write about a PC who was, literally, higher on the food chain than the drow. Likely abandoned, considering nobody's reading it anyway.

Menagerie: Dragon Age 2. Fill for a prompt on the kinkmeme requesting Anders getting wings. Fenris/Anders - a guilty pleasure of mine. Also, a really cool villain and lots of Anders-torture, as well as appearances from Origins characters across the board. Be aware of where you draw the good/evil line, and be prepared to think about it and defend your position...

The Raven's Shadow(Title Pending)ESIV:Oblivion, and the protagonist is a nameless half-vampire battlemage traversing a world full of MOD content. How can the PC, who can eventually lead all the guilds and become Champion of Cyrodiil and save everybody and be more famous than the gods live in a world where nobody knows their name? Ask Raven. He'll tell you. By the way, Raven will not be part of the Dark Brotherhood. They get too much attention as is.

Mediocrity is Glory(Title Pending)Diablo II, and our heroes are about as dysfunctional as dysfunctional gets. Rafael is a paladin for the Church of the Zakarum, Krys is a Rathmian (necromancer, if you will). One has too narrow a view of the world around him, the other, no faith in the humanity he is striving to protect. Supposedly Krys will teach Rafael to open his eyes, and Rafael will teach Krys about what it means to be human, but that entails them not killing each other first. Hopefully Mahala, a Rogue Sister demonized by Andariel, and Anya, the last surviving Harem girl from Lut Gholein, can keep the two men from murdering one another long enough for all that learning and teaching to happen. Mmm, post script: Most of these characters are going to die and die brutally. Fair warning. I don't keep my characters sacred, unless you count preserving their lives so they can die when it's convenient for the plot...

Brushstrokes: Again, Diablo II, Krys and Rafael. Little standalone things that are a creative writing exercise, and a chance to paint their characters a little better. Character and imagery. Not long enough to call chapters, really, but they're worth writing, for me, which is a change from the stuff I usually post, which is not worth reading/writing/posting.

Further Unnecessary Commentary: When I say Title Pending, I mean I have too much pride to work on anything I've entitled Untitled(or any variation of). So, while Mediocrity is Glory is not a title that actually fits the story too well, I find it less irksome than Untitled story, Untitled for Now, No Title Yet...
