Author has written 16 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, Bleach, Naruto, Law and Order: SVU, Diablo, Baldur's Gate, Trinity Blood, and Neverwinter Nights. So, hi. I'm Heron, or Clarion if you prefer, and I'm having some major technical difficulties (like figuring out the new interface on ff. net) and so the things I intended to post before won't be posted and I'm working on new things because...yeah, you don't need to read three pages of my griping. I'm still open to anyone who feels like chatting with me, so feel free to email or pm with criticism/curiosity/etcetera. Works in Progress Tension Point: HIATUS. They painted targets on their backs! I'm still trying, but I am most definitely open for suggestions on illnesses the ninja should suffer... Be evil, but not too evil please. I don't want reviews like, "Uncle Walter died of that disease you insensitive bitch!" Love is What You Make of It: Gah, I'm trying. Trying to be un-romantic is harder than I thought it would be. If I ever get to chapter four and beyond, I'll start taking requests...with rules attached. Dreams of Evil: I'm still writing. Just finished is my fave, the necro, tortured at the whim of Duriel, but I can't post. But all the same, Amousca, your fave ain't the only one suffering my insanity. Of course, due to my meds, all this doom just got harder to write, but hell, I'm still trying. I'll just wallow in shame a bit more and see where that leads me... Chasing the Moon: Neverwinter Nights, Hordes of the Underdark, as told by Shrayla. A Chaotic Good werewolf trying to make her place in the world, featuring Valen Shadowbreath as not-the-love-interest. Works on the Drawing Board Family Bonds(Title pending): Naruto, centered on the familial relationship between Neji and Hinata. I'm going for an original take on their interactions with each other. Mediocrity is Glory(Title Pending)Diablo II, and our heroes are about as dysfunctional as dysfunctional gets. Rafael is a paladin for the Church of the Zakarum, Krys is a Rathmian (necromancer, if you will). One has too narrow a view of the world around him, the other, no faith in the humanity he is striving to protect. Supposedly Krys will teach Rafael to open his eyes, and Rafael will teach Krys about what it means to be human, but that entails them not killing each other first. Hopefully Mahala, a Rogue Sister demonized by Andariel, and Anya, the last surviving Harem girl from Lut Gholein, can keep the two men from murdering one another long enough for all that learning and teaching to happen. Mmm, post script: Most of these characters are going to die and die brutally. Fair warning. I don't keep my characters sacred, unless you count preserving their lives so they can die when it's convenient for the plot... Brushstrokes: Again, Diablo II, Krys and Rafael. Little standalone things that are a creative writing exercise, and a chance to paint their characters a little better. Character and imagery. Not long enough to call chapters, really, but they're worth writing, for me, which is a change from the stuff I usually post, which is not worth reading/writing/posting. Further Unnecessary Commentary: When I say Title Pending, I mean I have too much pride to work on anything I've entitled Untitled(or any variation of). So, while Mediocrity is Glory is not a title that actually fits the story too well, I find it less irksome than Untitled story, Untitled for Now, No Title Yet... | |||||||||
