Midena is a fantasy country which I used to write about. Thus the name: MidenianScholar.

I rarely write fanfiction, and most of what I have written is in drabbles or short stories. I don't write slash, and generally attempt to keep the characters I borrow close to canon (except in cases such as Aragorn Gets Brainwashed).

Current Projects:

The Raven King

Based on a myth that King Arthur (rather than chilling in Avalon or sleeping in a cave) was turned into a raven after the last battle, and in that form haunts the lands.

Somehow between the 6th Century and 2010, Arthur in raven form ends up in the U.S., and he turns back into a man while on Berry College’s campus in the middle-of-nowhere, Georgia. Much chaos ensues as he struggles to regain his memory and tries convince his new friends that he isn’t a nut case. Meanwhile back in England, some shady business is going on, and Merlin’s great-great-great-great-etc.-grandson is going to need some saving.

A Routine Disturbance

Chapter One - Disruptions and Diaries

Chapter Two - Not Exactly Mind-Reading

An adventure tale involving Mark from Raven King (though it can be read separately). Mark accidentally time-travels back to 1967 England, where he runs into trouble. It's only with the help of Alastor Moody (from Harry Potter) that Mark is able to take on his adversaries, and hopefully get back to the right time. Plot-twists, humor, angst and deep theological discussions abound.

Co-authored by Fox Murphy. You can read the story here.
