Hi there,

I am a honest, fair, hardworking, straighforward person. Capricorn ascending Capricorn there. I have very strong moral principles, although I'm as far from being one of those red-neck conservative girls as possible. I'm very open-minded and tolerant (openly socialist, yes you can flame), although I can be a real bitch to deal with when annoyed since I have a bad temper. I am also an hermit. Too much projects and ideas to carry on to have time to spend with friends hanging out, doing unproductive stuff. Heh. I'm a simple person, I like simple things, like nature and quietness (and a cup of good old English Breakfast Tea) but I'm also a very selective customer (I try to applicate the voluntary simplicity). I am also a very passionnate person and I tend toward perfectionnalism a bit too much for my own good. But although I am an idealist an a dreamer, I am also a very realist, deeply cynical, sarcastic and ironic person. How is that supposed to make sense? I don't know. Don't ask.

I also have the worst name memory ever. Please, don't get offended if I don't remember you name: I forget everybody's name.

I'm a Quebecer (french-canadian), so my English is far from being perfect, and I feel like I'm always making mistakes. So please TELL ME if you run into a sentence that doesn't make sense. Thank you. And yes, I do appreciate to get corrected (if you do it politely of course).

For those who might wonder, I learned my English through Harry Potter books and Final Fantasy games... and Internet, of course. Good ol' Internet...

As you will see in my gallery, I used (that seems like a century ago) to be a big manga reader and to like some popular series such as Naruto (OMG I feel so old). Which got me into fanfiction writing, and since I write very slowly, I'm still writing KakaIru stories although I have long dropped all interest in Naruto. I like my stories and I don't want to disappoint my readers at this point by abandoning them with a half-finished story. I am also very openly into male gay romance or whatever you like to call it, gay porn, yaoi, shounen-ai, june, etc. But being the very critical reader I am, I have long stopped to read manga/doujinshi/original stories that I don't find original and mentally stimulating enough. So I actually don't read much of it anymore (cause good yaoi is a rarity if you ask me)

Which explains why I've started writing my own fanfictions.

Anyway, so what's going on in my life, huh... Well I just came back a month ago from a 9 months-long student exchange in Japan. Pretty cool huh? Yeah, sometimes I have a hard time believing that it really happened to me. But then again I only have to glance at my new collection of Japanese gay porn to chase the doubts away. You know you envy me.

Besides that... I'm gonna finish my history minor and then go do my Master degree in history. I'm actually a very good student, so I shouldn't have too much problem finding myself a job (hopefully). I love history, I love to broaden my horizons and learn more about different countries, mentalities and how the past shaped our present. I find the whole history subject fascinating and I'm happily working in a small local Museum as a student job.

Beside continuing to study in history, I want to publish a novel: I'm already working on a senario and I'm finaly going to give it a serious try this. For years I've told myself that I'd write a book at some point, and I've decided that it was time for me to stop dreaming and get something done. So there. Actually, it was all the fanfiction writing that convinced me that it was time for me to move on. As I re-read some of my oldest (and crappiest) work, I realized that I had developped with the years a very distinctive writing style and gotten the writing experience that I had lacked before to do what I've always wanted to do. And I'm working hard on it too. Wish me good luck ;)

For these reasons I guess I'll be very busy in the following years so I'm not planning on drawing a lot, but I want to slowly start drawing again to improve enough my drawing skills to maybe be able to publish a comic book one day. I'd love to draw a manga and publish it on one of those big american male gay romance manga publication like DramaQueen or YaoiPress. But I still have a long way ahead, as you can all clearly see in my gallery snickers
