Yesterday, at 8:30 in the morning, there was a horrific tragedy. Only just licensed the day before, Jackie Viteritto, 16 years old, about to go into 11th grade at my school- Montrose Area Jr-Sr High School, was getting into her parents' SUV and driving herself home from a sleepover at a friend's house. As she pulled out, a quarry truck filled with about 60 tons of stone t-boned her and crushed the entire front half of the SUV, hitting the drivers' side first. She felt no pain. But we do.

On a myspace chain bulletin just hours after the accident, her boyfriend Kyle said

"babe this is the only chain i have ever tried to keep up with so thats gotta tell you something right? i will miss you forver and you will never leave my dreams. you are the girl of my dreams and now that is where you will always be. and in my heart. i love you so much jackie. you are my angel, now more than ever. i love you. always and forever."

I didn't have time to post my POTC fic last night, so I'll just post it now while I'm in Computers Class (we have a sub and an open-ended project, so of course no one's really working).

By the way, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was ROCKIN!!! I heart it!! While I am NOT an Orlando Bloom groupie (you know them- girls who pin his pictures on the ceiling right above their bed) I AM a Will Turner fanatic!!! And in this third film, he is ta HOTNESS!!

Eek! Another ten days, gone like that! I'm going to put a few stories on hold, and I'm also going to add one. Crazy Little Thing is NOT on hold- I'm just having a little bit of writer's block. 17 and Already Married? - formerly Where There's a Will- is officially on hold. I just have no good ideas for it.

By Fire and Water will probably be changing its name soon. It's not on hold.

Revelation is on a roll! It will NEVAH be put on hold! w00t!

Yikes. I haven't been on in ten days. Things are getting crazy, what with it being the middle of the last marking period and all, so no wonder I'm busy.

I know I said I'd be updating Revelation, but some things have come up. Sorry! But I'm going to make it an even longer chapter to make up for it. I'll post more than one at once, too. That should cover it.

Better weather, better sleep, better mood! Although I'm sad, I'm trying to make it a good day.

I'm sad because the first original plot I ever came up with- when I was like 7 and playing with Bratz™ with Kathleen- had to put on the shelf. I made it first priority for a while, then I realized that the plot wasn't flowing smoothly, the story did not reveal much about the characters, and it just wasn't turning out the way I'd wanted it to. So I'm going to shelf it for now, and go back to it when I get more good ideas.

Just when I'd decided to shelf it, I had a huge burst of creativeness for another story that I shelfed a long time ago, and so I'll work on that for a while.

I'm in the library during my study hall right now, and so I think I'll try working on some of my fanfics right now. Let's see what I can do.

Maybe this journal thing will work out anyway. I mean, I've written something two days in a row.

Not that anybody cares, but I'll probably be updating less and less for a while- I'm trying to write my own original fic. It's a lot harder than I first thought. But I think it's worth it.

I'm in such a bad mood right now. Grar. I'll try not to take it out on my poor defenseless profile. Oh well...I can handle the olsars better anyway. ;)

Obviously, the journal-type thing is not working. Boo me. I suck.

So I just wanted to fill you guys in on a few things:

1. My FanFics.

Biting the Bullet- As none of you have pointed out, this one's disappeared. My first real FanFic, and I just gotta say it. It SUCKED. It was stupid. It had no real point. I hated it. So, I took it down, I'm fixing it, then I'll put it back up.
By Fire and Water- I really like this one, so I'm not going to give it up. I haven't updated in a couple weeks because of writer's block.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love- I love this one because I came up with it before I even knew what a FanFic was. I've been developing this story for a very long time, so I'm going to work very hard on it. I haven't updated in forever because the stuff I wrote for it was unworthy of such a cool story.
Just Another Junkie- I had the idea of writing a sequel series, but I don't think I will. I really like the note on which the actual story ends, so I don't think I want to fiddle with it.
The Scars of My Past- Just a oneshot. Nothing to report.
Where There's a Will, There's a Woman- Although one of my first fics, and my most popular, I am currently suffering from severe writer's block and overscheduling. I don't have enough time for everything- not even my job, which, I'm afraid, will stay at the top of my list. Sorry guys, not my choice, just my fate.
X-Men: Revelation- I LOVE this FanFic!! I loved the idea when I first got it, and I love it now! I am working on a nice long chapter for it right now. I know it seems waaaay confusing, but that's what the movies were like, weren't they? Also, I'm planning on adding characters that were cut from the movies. Let me know if you've got a request.

2. I'm also working on two Pirates of the Caribbean FanFics; one on my own about the daughter of Jack Sparrow trying to con the son of Will and Elizabeth, and one with my friend Kathleen about two sisters who are kidnapped by a young Sparrow and Barbosa. This one's funny because Kathleen's character is the older of the two, much more mature and accepting of her life. The younger is my character, and she is ecstatic to be kidnapped by pirates, because now she can fulfill her childhood dreams of becoming a pirate herself. It's still in the brainstorm process though, but when we post it I'll tell you where to find it (we don't know if we want to post it on my profile, her profile, or a joint profile).
