So anyway, what's there to say? I'm a MASSIVE Lost and Charmed fan. They are my two favorite shows out there. I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer too, and will read the occasional fanfic, but I've been with Lost and Charmed since the beginning.

Favorite pairings: Phoebe/Cole, Piper/Leo, Prue/Andy, Kate/Jack. Paige and Henry are okay, but you won't see me writing any stories about the pair of them. Maybe that's because I'm not a HUGE fan of Paige. I find her somewhat annoying, but maybe that's because I was such a huge fan of Prue. I think it was crap she didn't come back for the series finale, but I understand why.

Least favorite pairings: Phoebe/Coop, Juliet/Jack. I just thought Phoebe and Cole were sooo awesome together! They were soulmates. Even in the 7th season episode when he came back, Phoebe could sense him even though she couldn't see him. After all that, why did she settle on Coop? To me, it felt as though the writers completely forgot about Phoebe and realized they needed to give her someone in order to give her a happily ever after so they just threw Coop in at the last minute and tried to convince everyone that they were meant to be together. I have nothing against Coop, I just found it a bit weird that after all the drama with Cole, we're supposed to believe that Phoebe was meant to be with Coop. I don't know, just my opinion.

If you couldn't already tell, my favorite character is Phoebe, closely followed by Piper. Everyone is always bashing Phoebe for being such a hypocrite and some kind of bitch, but it's simply not true. Phoebe has always been the nicest Charmed One, giving those who needed it a chance, i.e. Billie. She saw the good in Cole when no one else would. She gave the benefit of the doubt to everyone, and only changed her opinion when there was no other choice. I liked how she grew as a person. In the first season, you see her as this carefree spirit who is basically still a child at heart and has this boundless energy, though irresponsible. But as the show progressed, you see her grow up completely, and became an excellent older sister to Paige after Prue left. And in the later seasons she grew into a smart, mature adult, though you can still see glimpses of the free spirit she used to be. She was constantly the voice of reason to Piper and Paige in the later seasons, though I'm not saying that Piper and Paige were completely irrational. They weren't. But everyone is always saying that Phoebe is a hypocrite when Paige was going out with Agent Brody and Henry, saying all this stuff about not being able to trust them when Prue said the exact same thing to her when she was dating Cole. I can simply chalk that up to being a big sister. She trusted Paige's judgment, though she was still weary about their intentions. As an older sister myself, I can tell you with confidence that it's an older sibling thing to be cautious.

And yeah. There's plenty more I could say on the subject, but in keeping it short, I won't. Most of my Charmed stories are centered around Phoebe and Cole, though I might try some Next Generation, Piper/Leo stories if I'm feeling up to it.

As for Lost, it's slowly coming. But with the final season not coming until January, and the events of the season 5 finale, I'm trying to gather my thoughts. Due to my lack of updates for Let Fate Decide, I'm trying to figure out a way to work around it, since I started that story before season 5 even aired.
