UPDATE: 3/21/2008- I am no longer writing "Invisibly Jaded." It has been almost a year since I have updated, but I am still getting many story alerts. I had intended to edit this story, so I have copies stored on my computer of edited chapters 1-8, but have not uploaded anything, and likely never will. I'm not even sure if I finished editing or not, since some parts took some pretty major changes. There has been a partial chapter 9 in my computer since probably about a month after my last posted chapter.
I have NO intention of continuing this story. I apologize, but I have completely lost interest in Harry Potter. I went months without reading any HP fanfics (except for a couple of accidental links to Potter stories from other sites), and when I tried re-reading one of my favorite Potter fanfics, I just couldn't get into it. I never even read the seventh book, and I honestly have no desire to ever do so.
I'm considering putting this story up for adoption, since so many people seem to like it. I really don't want to go through any long process of picking out an author though, and I'm hesitant to post a notice for readers in the chapter nine place. Don't wanna give people false hope and whatnot when they get the alert for a new chapter.

10/26/06 (1:58 AM)- Wow. It's been forever. I'm still alive though! Ummm...I'm still getting a review every once-in-a-while for my story, so I'm still going to try and write. I suck. I did actually tag on a few more chunks to chapter six. Right now though, it's just shy of three thousand words, and I would probably feel stupid posting such a weeny chapter after making y'all wait six months at this point. Ehhhhh! It isn't even at a good ending point. I'm gonna do this. I am bound and determined.

And on a completely unrelated side note, I learned about penis envy in psychology today. Weird stuff, man, weeeeiiird stuff. We all laughed like five year olds.

7/30/06- IT'S COMING! I did get my super-duper great new lappy and it is wunnnerfulllll!...except that I don't have microsoft word on it--just word perfect which took me forever to get used to for some reason. I broke out my old crappy lappy yesterday, dusted it off, and pulled out the five-hundred or so words I had already written for chapter six and put it on my new laptop. I deleted a section at the end that I really hated, which means that whatever I had written in some notebook is useless. I started it up again and was getting all excited, when my sister came in to go to bed (we share a room) and repeatedly demanded that I quit typing, so I only got about a hundred words typed. Fortunately, the reason she wanted to go to bed so badly was because she was leaving today for band camp (which she did ten minutes ago from right now as I'm typing this). Now, I have nearly a whole week with just my parents, so I'll either have a lot of time to write, or my mom will try to drag me all over the place or make me do chores and crap since my brother and sister are away at band camp. Either way, this is just a notice to tell y'all that I am not giving up on my story!

By the way, I can sort of eat now. My jaw still hurts like heck and doesn't move as well as I'd like it too, but there is SOOO much less pain when I eat! Hurray!

6/26/06-I apologize for my lack of updating. I had a lot of craziness going on at the end of school that manifested itself in the form of tons of projects, late nights, very little sleep, blah blah blah, et cetera. Then there was graduation, planning my own graduation party, blah-de blah, and some more stuff. I feel sort of stupid for having such a long break in between chapters, but I needed a stinkin' break. The sixth chapter is partially written in my old broken piece of crap laptop, partially in one of my school notebooks, and partially in my head. One of these days I'll get around to writing all my thank-you notes for graduation presents, and then I'll try and dig out the pieces of chapter six I have so far. I'm not even sure what I wrote at this point, but I don't think I liked it very much...but whatever, that's what editing is for. There will be a freaking chapter six. I have to go have some minor jaw surgery tomorrow morning, so I probably won't be out and about much. I'm so gonna miss solid food. Actually, I already do miss most solid foods. I haven't been able to eat properly in a year, and now I'm going to be forced to survive on milkshakes and 'nutritious beverages'. Feh. I want steak. Now. I kid you not. I miss steak. And carrots.

5/11/06- Someone killed crappy lappy. I went to my room and there were two keys completely shattered, two half shattered, and two more with just part of the key broken, and one key that now has a lovely 45 degree slope downwards, and the whole keyboard is screwed up, and only like, twelve keys actually work. I can't even find half the pieces, so it was definitely not an accident. Stupid siblings. No one is fessing up to it. Graduation needs to hurry up so I can get my new one.

3/24/06-...my bad. Chapter five not ready yet. Packing for DISNEY TOMORROW right now!

3/22/06- Chapter five is now going through some rewriting. I'm hoping to have it up by Friday (the 24th) because I'm leaving on the morning of the 25th for DISNEY WORLD with the band. YAY FLORIDA! FLORIDA FLORIDA FLORIDA! Where it is hot and nice...I hope. It's freezing here in Ohio. There's like, snow and crap. I'm still wearing my winter coat everywhere. Brr...

3/9/06-Yeah, I'm still around. Still stuck on chapter 5. I think everyone is going to hate me when I get the chapter up.

2/19/06-Hmmm, it's been a while, neh? Someone just needs to save me from the wrath of English class. HELP! Nvm. Chapter five is probably about half finished now at any rate.
