Well, I don't know what exactly I should put here. But, since I've started a story, I'd might as well.

Let's see, I was born in Equador (South America), have lived in Belize (Central America), and currently reside in North Carolina (USA, North America). I have a facination with Japan, which has led to my interest in anime/manga. I can speak English and Spanish (though I've neglected Spanish for a while now), and I'm studying Japanese. I am considered hispanic (though I'm only one quarter Cuban and the rest is a jumble of ethicities, including 1/16th Cherokee and a bunch from Europe). My field of study is computer engineering. I also have a rather odd sense of humor courtesy of my father (who enjoys puns way too much).

I wonder if that's too much information...Oh well.

My main interest in fanfiction comes from the many variations to a story that it provides. However, I do limit which stories I read fanfiction for (mainly due to length/interest). The main ones are: Naruto, InuYasha, Hellsing, and Harry Potter. On that note, I prefer Naruto/Hinata, Sesshoumaru/Kagome, Alucard/Seras, and Harry/Ginny. I originally prefered InuYasha/Kagome, but after reading a few good Sess/Kag fics I started prefering those.

Anyways, my muse has used it's weapon of choice (fondly dubed Imagination) on my poor brain. I have come up with the idea behind Rekindled (Naruto) along with ideas for InuYasha and Harry Potter fanfics. On a side note, I usually curse my muse about four times a day, mostly in class, as it forces me to think up/on plot elements for Rekindled. Never fear, I don't think I'll be able to stop writing it until it's done. Besides, there's a cat called Curiosity that stalks around my brain. I want to know what happens as much as any reader, as I write out the main plot using note cards and add the meaty stuff as I write each chapter.

Since I've started, I'm trying to incorporate some of the more commonly used ideas into Rekindled (time travel, Haku living, etc.) but twisting them slightly to make them new-ish (not of Naruto's choice/Hinata tagging along, Naruto not trying to have Haku live, etc.). One of my pet peeves is authors reusing a concept without adding anything new. It's annoying. Anyways, should anyone have ideas on plot elements, please do tell. Another thing is that I don't really like is when an author simply changes a character's personality from what it is in the original story (prime examples: Naruto, Kyuubi, and Sesshoumaru). I mean, someone's personality is based upon their life up to that point--give some reasons for the change.

Some common annoyances I've found in fanfiction (just to point them out) are: using woman instead of women and vice-versa; spelling definitely as defiantly (very common); "hai" and "iie" misuse; and authors playing dress-up with characters (mainly seen with Naruto and Kagome).

Umm...I think I'm done ranting now. ~_~
