MOI
I am in my twenties and currently live with my husband Erik in Paris, France, with our little twins, Nathalie and Gabriel, though I do frequently travel to the U.S. to visit my relatives. I was born and raised in the southern U.S.; I moved to Paris to study music after I graduated from college, where I met my husband. We dated just a little under a year before we married in December 2004.
In my spare time, I like to write, read, draw, Photoshop, cook, sew/embroider, and spend time with my family. I also love to swim, ballroom dance, and weight train, though I've not had much time as of late. :) I also love going to art galleries and museums.
My interests include classic and Gothic literature, theatre, cinema, music, history, and art.

WRITINGS
I write for multiple fandoms, but I write romance, with canon/OC pairings. Please do not discriminate simply because of the pairings I write; I've received more complaints in the past than anything else about my pairings.
My writing is heavily influenced by romance novels (yes, there is some purple prose in my stories, but it's not enough to where you can't understand what I'm saying) and Victorian/Gothic writings, as I've been raised on both romance and Gothic literature.
I've been writing fanfiction for about three or four years now, and as such I've deleted many of my older stories in my archive because I was no longer satisfied with them. I plan to rewrite them soon, however. Time is the limiting factor; time has become a premium, since I'm a mother of twins and completely drained of energy by the end of the day. Please, be patient with me. I try to update every day, but that's not always possible. I update as often as I can, and it's not uncommon for me to go for up to a week or more without updates. It's not because I've abandoned the stories; it's for one of two reasons: 1) I simply have no time, or 2) I've hit a plateau with one story, and so I work on another one until I get some inspiration.
