Somewhat Personal Information: Name: Ms. Videl Son !UPDATE!: 11 November 2008 Due to a shitload of group work, requests and real life demands, all of my ongoing stories are temporarily on HIATUS status. However, there is good news on this front; after December 2008, I will no longer be requiring myself to participate in group contests, which means that I should have more leisure to work on personal projects. I love my groups to death and will support them forever, they're just cutting a little too much into my time for my own ideas. I'll still probably write entries here or there (and fanart submissions will more than likely be fairly constant), but the pressure to force myself will be gone. That said, I hope I'll be able to get my currently ongoing stories (ie, "Sexy no Jutsu" and the rest of my Lifelong Love series, "Speak Up," "Keeping in the Family," etc) complete before graduating this spring (May 2009). No guarantees on this, obviously, but that's the plan for now. Dragonball Z Fics 1 ) Deliver Me -- Videl sets out on a mission to discover the identity of the “Golden Delivery Boy” who fought Cell...No HS, No Buu, GhVi. (All current sketches have been done by me.) 2 ) Keeping in the Family -- “If ‘Niisan won’t marry you, will you marry me instead?” With a misplaced wish on the dragonballs, this could turn into a problem. PostBuu, GV – but which G? Okay: after mapping out my notes chapter-by-chapter, it's been decided that "Keeping in the Family" will be fifteen chapters long (including epilogue). It's not anything like I originally imagined it, but I happen to think that it's better. It's going to have a cop-out ending, but...well, I like it, anyway. It'll be something of a "lesson learned" story. Btw, I fully intend (but make no resolute promises) to start updating "Keeping in the Family" again June once I've got the time to do so. I'm travelling after all (in fact, as I type this message I'm out-of-state), but my plans to continue KitF are unchanged. Expect news in mid-ish June once I've gotten home. My other DBZ fics are, as mentioned clearly in their respective summaries, OneShots and/or Complete. So, to those of you that have them on your alerts list, I apologize if you were somehow misled into believing otherwise. Really, I'm not writing anymore chapters for them. I swear. Yeah, I know nobody really cares about the DBZ section anymore, but I refuse to give up. Just because KitF and my other OneShots for this fandom are possibly the least popular fics in my profile doesn't mean that I love them any less. In fact, I probably love them the most out of all the stories I've ever written, particularly KitF and "Saiyaman: The Movie" (listed under the "coming soon" section below). I refuse to give up! Aahh...I was poking around on DA and found a pic that reminds me of KitF (purely by coincidence, of course). Coming Soon...(listed in alphabetical order by title) 1 ) 20-One -- Multichapter (15 to 20 chapters, hopefully), replacement for the Android Saga. Mirai Trunks brings fateful tidings from the future about THREE androids terrorizing mankind. Three years later, enter Androids 17, 18 and 21...GhVi. Basic premise: Videl is an android. Yep, that's right, Videl is Android 21 (rather than Cell; he'll be bumped up to #22). Just want to clear that up before anybody goes thinking that I've created an OC that takes a major role. I don't do that. Anyway, it's 1/2 Future Fic, 1/2 regular timeline (the chapters will alternate between them). "Android 21" will be Gohan's age and part of the story will revolve around her rediscovering her identity before Dr. Gero made his modifications on her body. She'll be the same basic power level as 17 and 18, 16 won't be involved at all, and Cell will still be a factor in the story. Other than that...you'll just have to wait and see Ah...the plot is so complicated that I feel like I haven't described it at all n.n; I did my best, though... When Erasa discovers Gohan’s secret identity as Saiyaman, she has a few...conditions. Pre-Blackmail, GhVi, NO GhE. Next anticipated multi-chapter project, but I probably won't be able to post anything until after exams at this point. Sorry, RyRy. 3 ) Devil Worship -- OneShot. When Videl is (actually) kidnaped by "Satan Worshipers" -- nuts who pray to Mr. Satan as the god-sent "Savior of the World" -- it's up to Saiyaman to save her from their obsessive clutches! Then again, maybe the little devil can take care of herself...One-sided GhVi, Pre-Blackmail. Yes, it's my latent feminism in action again. Still, it should be funny and there's even potential for a sequel featuring a cult that worships the Gold Fighter (ie, "The Golden Angels of Truth"). It'll be very punny, though, so don't read if you want sophisticated humor. Based on a random idea from an old fic that I never got around to writing/posting. It was meant to be a minor subplot, but I like it as a standalone OneShot better. 4 ) Don't Be a Pill -- OneShot. Request fic for dbz-lover91; my version of Gohan and Videl's first time. When Gohan accidentally discovers Videl's birth control pills while looking for aspirin, he panics. Post-Buu, GhVi, all characters will be of-age. (M -- NO LEMON, sorry guys. You'll have to rely on innuendo and your own imagination to fill in the blanks.) Somewhat funny, mostly sweet, and there might even be some educational information about The Pill for those of you interested. 5 ) Good Clean Fun -- OneShot. Splish, splash! Videl was taking a bath...and Gohan interrupted. Pre-Buu, GhVi. Oddly enough, I haven't posted a "Gohan torture fic" yet...you'd think I would, considering how much fun it inevitably has to be. Well, let this one be it n.n Btw, I know that the summary doesn't really give you too good of an idea of what, exactly, the set-up is, so here you go: While Gohan is teaching Videl how to fly, Goten accidentally knocks her out of the air and into a mud puddle. Completely drenched head-to-toe in muck, ChiChi insists that she take a bath before settling down to lunch. When Goten decides that he wants to take a bath with his 'Nee-chan, all hell breaks loose as Gohan tries to prevent him from doing so. Long story short: they both end up in the tub with Videl by accident. Fun, yes? 6 ) Mars Attacks -- When the men are rendered helpless, it's up to the women to take down the latest threat to Earth's prosperity. Post-Buu, hints of canon romance (including GhVi, VB, GCC, K18, etc). Since this is mostly meant to be humorous, expect a lot of "men are from mars, women are from venus" jokes. ...What can I say? I'm a feminist at heart... 7 ) A New Tactic -- TwoShot. Without any solid evidence of Son Gohan playing the double role of Saiyaman, Videl needs a confession from the accused to make the charge stick. Stealth didn’t work. Brutality didn’t work. Now there’s only one thing left to try...Set during "Gohan's First Date," GhVi. (M -- implied, but not explicit, sexual content. If you're perverted enough, you can fill in the blanks yourself.) Btw, expect a "teddy" joke here or there...(dbz-lover91 knows what I'm talking about n.n ) 8 ) Night of the Were-Ape (for lack of better title) -- MultiChapter (10 to 15, I think). When someone wishes the moon back into existence, Satan City will suffer the consequences in the form of a gigantic hairy Gohan...Pre-Tournament, Post-Flying Lessons, GhVi. My pet project for the moment. I'm still working out the plot kinks, but it's coming along well... 9 ) Saiyaman -- Multichapter (probably 20 to 30), Superman parody; When Gohan starts his new job in the big city after college, he realizes that someone needs to strike fear into the hearts of criminals terrorizing the populace. With Satan Videl, an up-and-coming detective on the SCPD, on the case, however, his Gold Fighter personna might not be enough to protect his identity...GhVi. Superman’s a dick. Batman kicks ass. Saiyaman’s better than both combined. In this fic, Gohan and Videl are both twenty-two, the former never attended high school and there was no Buu. Other than that, however, all canon still applies, including Mr. Satan taking Gohan's credit for defeating Cell and Videl playing secret weapon for the police as a HS/college student. No Goku since he wouldn't have been wished back were it not for the circumstances that Buu brought about. And, yes, there will be sex. No NC-17 material, but sex nonetheless. I hope to get to this one after finishing up "Delivery" with dbz-lover91, KitF and "Night of the Were-Ape." Wish me luck, guys... 10 ) Saiyaman: The Movie (DVD Edition) -- MultiChapter (5 or 6, including epilogue). In the episode "I'll Fight Too!" Gohan stumbles across the set to Saiyaman: The Movie. The results were...super. Pre-Buu, GhVi. Y'know what's weird? I just went searching for fics with a similar plotline and found only two that were anywhere close to this one...huh. I would've figured that a bunch of people would jump on the Saiyaman: The Movie bandwagon! There's so much comedic GOLD to be had... Not that I want to discourage anybody from reading the new version, but dbz-lover91 reminded me of where to find the original "Saiyaman: The Movie" on someone's personal website (not to worry, the person had permission at the time to archive it) and I felt like sharing. Gohan wakes up in his school library one afternoon to discover that he's both late for dinner AND his Saiyaman watch is missing! Who has it, you ask? Why, the only girl in town who suspects him of being the mild-mannered alter ego of Saiyaman...Pre-Blackmail, Mild GhVi. 12 ) Unfriendly Competition -- MultiChapter. No high school, no money, no Goku to save the day...what’s a teenaged demi-Saiyan to do? With no alternatives and only a single metric ton of food a day, Gohan is forced to earn money, and fast. Could the up and coming Tenka’ichi Budokai be the answer to their problems? No HS, Pre-Tournament, GhVi. This idea has been taken over by ShadowMajin. Anticipated release...soon-ish, I guess. In the meantime, I get to play beta n.n NOTE: NONE of these fics will be posted before every chapter is finished. This will assure everyone (particularly myself) of consistent updates and a lot less bellyaching reviews. I obviously can't do anything about KitF being unfinished in my profile, but I've learned from this (and my "Speak Up") mistake. InuYasha Fics I'm really not into InuYasha anymore (wow, I never thought I'd say THAT) so, just to stop wasting anymore time on denial, I have decided to officially (yes, that "official" word again) DISCONTINUE "Come Away With Me." So sorry, folks, but I really had no idea where to go with it anyway and, since finding myself both sick of and disgusted with the series it was based on, I really don't have any motivation to continue. The same goes for my JakenRin Frog Prince parody (I know, I know. You're devestated, I can tell.) Naruto Fics 1 ) Speak Up -- Before anybody goes jumping to conclusions I feel I should mention that I have NOT abandoned this story, it's just kind of low priority (along with all my other personal projects) right now. I sincerely hope to wrap it up in about five-ish more chapters, there's just no telling when I'll get around to it. Would've probably gotten it finnished last summer (May - August 2008), but I just kept collecting groups on DA... Anyway, your continued support is very much appreciated by this author who hasn't forgotten your steadfast loyalty and patience. I know I'm the frustrating sort of person who never gets anything out when she first says she's going to, so those of you who have stuck by me and this story are real troopers! Honest to God, guys, I love you all and want to finish this fic just for you! I think you deserve at least that much. 2 ) Lifelong Love Series -- Last year, a little plot bunny absolutely INSISTED that I begin a series of One-to-FiveShots that depict important, potentially romantic SasuHina moments throughout their life. I have dubbed this multitude of connected One-to-FourShots my "Lifelong Love" series and, if you see the sentence "Part of the Lifelong Love series" in the story summary, then you know what that means. There could be anywhere between three and fifty stories connected to the Lifelong Love series; even I don't know yet. I'll post whenever and whatever strikes my fancy. I would like to mention that, even though each of the One-to-FiveShots in this series are connected, they also stand alone. You can read one, two or all of them if you like and still be able to understand each individually without context outside of the Naruto series. You don't even have to read them in order if you don't want to; I certainly don't feel the need to write them in chronological order (even if I have done so thusfar). So far, the stories I have written as part of the Lifelong Love series are (in chronological order): "Stuck On You" (OneShot) As stated above, all ongoing stories/series are temporarily ON HIATUS status because of the current demands on my time (when the hell did I get popular, anyway?). Hate to do it, guys, but that's the way things go sometimes. Besides SnJ, there are a couple more OneShot plots that I want to write for this series before I call it officially complete. I haven't forgotten any of them, I've just been distracted. By the way, before I forget to mention it, this series is entirely dedicated to juliagulia1017 who inspired the first and therefore all installments. She also gave me the one detail that will connect them all together (the first three people who can tell me exactly what that one detail is via PM will get a OneShot request). Doujinshi: Oddly enough, even though no one has ever offered to draw/surprised me with fanart for my fanfiction, there have been a couple offers for doujinshi.
