Hi! I'm seventeen, and I adore writing, although I'm not always that good (I do have some stories of which I'm proud...The List and Insomnia being prime examples). I can get very obsessive about the things I like, which is pretty evident in the case of Harry Potter, as I not only write fanfiction, but I make music videos as well (which you can check out by visiting my homepage).
My close friend is polyhymnictal (well, that's her penname of course), who is an absolutely AMAZING writer. Check out her fic! It's fairly short, but just by reading it, it's clear how talented she truly is.
What else? Oh, of course! I'm a huge shipper, and I usually will not read any fic that goes against my ship. It's not that I'm not OPEN to other ships (though in the case of H/Hr, I honestly can't stand fics that contradict it), it's just that I usually end up getting upset (once I got nauseated from reading H/G...). Again, I'm very passionate about what I ship.
So, what DO I ship?
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon - Usagi/Mamoru. Um, yeah, Seiya/Usagi does not sit well with me. At all. Yes, Mamoru can be a bit distant, but come on. He was orphaned as a child after a horrible car accident. Who wouldn't have a bit of trouble getting close to someone? The fact that he loves Usagi as deeply as he does speaks for itself. And really, do you think Usagi could truly love anyone else like she loves Mamoru?
Bones - Booth/Brennan. Angela/Hodgins. Another show I recently got into (I finished all three seasons in less than a week). Booth/Brennan are my OTP on the show, and the main reason why I watch (their chemistry is absolutely amazing!!). While I never rooted for A/H, now that they're together I find it really adorable. Anyway, I'm anxiously awaiting season four, as the rumor mill says we'll be getting an official Booth/Brennan kiss - no mistletoe involved!
Friends - Chandler/Monica, Ross/Rachel (although once in a while it becomes tiresome, but I get over it).
Gossip Girl - Dan/Serena, Nate/Blair (no, I don't read the books, but I am well aware of what happens, so don't lecture me!! lol). I know everyone else is crazy over Chuck/Blair, but I'm just not feeling it. For some reason, I really love N/B.
Hana Yori Dango (the Japanese live action, the animé, and the manga...I love all three) - Domyoji/Makino, Sojiro/Yuki, Rui/Shizuka, and Sakurako/Kazuya is pretty cute in the animé. I cannot stand the idea of Rui/Makino. Rui is sweet, and I really like him, but Makino's heart belongs with Domyoji. Domyoji may be a complete asshole sometimes, but it's clear how much he cares about Makino.
Harry Potter - Harry/Hermione, Ron/Luna, Neville/Ginny, James/Lily, Remus/Tonks (though I'm not really fond of how Rowling got them together in Book 6...). In the case of Harry Potter, the only ships I REALLY mind being broken are Harry/Hermione and James/Lily. I don't really care as much about the other two.
Jimmy Neutron - Jimmy/Cindy is possibly one of the cutest cartoon pairings in the universe. Honestly. I adore them. Not to crazy about Sheen/Libby, but it doesn't bother me either way. J/C is what really matters to me. I despise Jimmy/Betty. It's just such a shallow relationship.
Kim Possible - Kim/Ron. They're just so cute! I always wanted them together, even when the show just started and the pairing wasn't popular, so I was thrilled when they finally got together.
Law and Order: SVU - Elliot/Olivia. This is my current obsession. I'm absolutely in love with this show and this ship. Yes, I know Elliot is married, but it's beyond clear that Olivia has feelings for Elliot (see Paternity and Fault), and that Elliot might just return the sentiment. I'm hoping they'll pull a JAG and get them together on Mariska and Chris's last episode.
The OC - Ryan/Marissa (I hate Ryan/ Taylor) and, of course, Seth/Summer. And where would we be without Sandy/Kirsten?.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (I LOVE that show. It's my favorite on television, even if it is canceled) - Matt/Harriet (my favorite couple), Danny/Jordan, Tom/Lucy
The Wonder Years - Kevin/Winnie, but of course. Possibly one of the sweetest TV couples.
Zoey 101 - I just recently got into this show. I know it's probably a bit more pre-teeny, even if it IS on TeenNick, but it's a lot of fun to watch. The writing is horrible at times (especially when they attempt background conversation - see Spring Break-up, when Zoey and Lola talk about blueberries), but other times it shines (see when Chase finally admits to Logan and Michael that he's in love with Zoey in "Goodbye Zoey?" - his speech, though clichéd, just works). ANYWAY, on to my ship - Chase/Zoey (but of course). Who wouldn't love Chase (for one)? And (for two) it's clear that Zoey has feelings for him. I was thrilled that C/Z finally got together (as if there was any chance of it not happening), though I feel the finale did a horrible job of it. I was actually fairly disappointed, but oh well. That's what the other three seasons are for.
