I know guys. I've been jumping all over the place these days with my writing. I spend a few weeks totally absorbed in one thing or another and none of the stories I'm working on seem to hold my attention for more than a few chapters. I'm working through that though. Right now, my TVD story "Slipping Underneath" is really at the front of my brain. But for fans of CTTE, I HAVE been thinking about it a lot lately. I think I finally might be close to working on the ending to that one. Thanks for your patience.

A little about me? I'm 28 and the mother of four little darlings, Harper (7), Lucas (5), Sarah (3), and newborn Kaitlyn. I'm a stay-at-home mom (mostly) and a writer. I'm working on a book that I hope to get published at some point, but I like to write fan fiction in between to keep me from getting writer's block. I grew up in Virginia, spent six years in Alabama, and now I live in Wisconsin. I love to read, write, crochet, and cross-stitch...when I get the time. I try to write a little of something every day, whether it's on my book or one of my fics. Now that I've started posting here, I'll make sure to continue doing so in a timely manner. With that said, I AM a mom so sometimes things come up that keep me from writing. But I'll do my best and I hope you don't mind sticking around for the results.

Avatar: The Last Airbender stuff...

For the fans of "Closer to the Edge" I'm really sorry I've been away from writing for so long. Unfortunately I have a tendency to write in waves, as creativity comes and goes. It's something I'm trying to work through to get back to writing because writing makes me feel so good. So, instead of jumping back into "CTTE" cold, I'm working on a small collection of one-shots (mostly Zutara fluff and humor moments) that happen somewhere within the story but weren't part of the plot. I don't like to put scenes in a story just for the sake of them. I like each scene to add to the plot. Because of that, I end up with random scenes that were good, but not strictly necessary, and no where to put them. So now I've found a place to put them while I'm working on getting back to the writing of the actual story. Most of them are pretty short, I think, but they're all in good fun. I hope they will appease you while you wait. They've been a lot of fun to write.

Now, on the subject of pairings, I lean toward cannon however I'll read any pairing as long as it's written in a relatable fashion. In the realm of Avatar, Katara and Zuko are never going to just magically fall in love. Something is going to have to push them in that direction. And when it's done right, it can be a great story. Also, Katara and Aang aren't just going to live happily ever after either. I think you can ship Sokka with just about anyone, but moving him away from Suki would take some work. All in all, I think anything can be fun to read or write, if given the correct attention to detail.

Bleach stuff...

"Liars Like Me" is still on hiatus as well. Thanks for your patience. Once I get back into the flow of things, this story should resume.

There are very few pairings that wouldn't work here. I love to read all kinds of pairings, with only a few exceptions.

Harry Potter Stuff...

For all the fans of "An Unexpected Correspondence" you have gotten your wish. "One Fine Wire" is the sequel we've all been waiting for. Give it a look. I'm hoping you'll love it as much as I do. This is really the only story I'm actively working on right now as I'm trying to worm my way out of some serious writer's block. Thanks so much for your reviews guys. I'm also looking at a continuation to "Swapped" as well. But writing has been difficult for me for a bit now and I'm not sure when I'll return to these ideas.

I have a huge folder of stuff I used to write for Harrypotterfanfiction . com, but I abandoned that site years ago. I thought, what the heck, I might as well post my completed stories here while I work on other things. There is no guarantee that I'll start up writing new hpff. But I will be uploading all of my completed stories. Most of them were written in response to challenges, so the topic and writing styles vary, and there is a vast collection of characters.

Pet Peeves:

Ship bashers. There is no wrong or right. Everyone is entitled to their own creative expression.

People who start their summaries with "I suck at summaries." If that line, or one like it, is in anyone's summary, I automatically skip the story. It makes you sound dumb, even if you are a good writer.

Flamers, you know who you are. There is no reason why you have to read a story that you don't like. Don't ruin it for other people.

"One Fine Wire": Sequel to “An Unexpected Correspondence”…When two Hogwarts rivals decide to continue their secret writing, it changes them both. How will they maintain balance between who they are and who they were?...rating may go to M at a later date...A/N: This is what I'm working on to overcome some writer's block. Thanks to everyone who requested this sequel. (On hiatus 10/31/11)

"Closer to the Edge": Fifteen years after the death of the Avatar, Professor Zei decides to summon the biggest players in history to Wan Shi Tong's library. He wants to hear the whole story of the changing of the world from the people who changed it...A/N: This is going to be an alternate-shipped AU story mostly set in the years after the fall of Ba Sing Se. Lots of angsty romance and danger. Altogether a much darker story than I usually write. (on Hiatus 10/31/11)

"Closer to the Edge: Oneshots": Set within the story of "Closer to the Edge." These are a few tidbits of humor and fluff that just didn't add to the plot but were too good to pass up. "Liars Like Me": Inuoe Orihime fights for her life after drawing the attention of a truly mad scientist in the depths of Las Noches...A/N: This is a Ulquihime fic, occurring during the time of Orihime's capture. The story takes an AU turn toward the middle. This will be a mature story, rated for language, lemons, and disturbing images. Be warned. (On hiatus 10/31/11)

In Brainstorming*

"Give Me A Sign": In a world where the Avatar still slumbers within his iceberg, the Fire Nation has taken over the rest of the world. A few notable captives have been taken to ensure the behavior of the other nations, for who would put their own children’s lives at risk?...A/N: Will involve multiple pairings, notably Zutara, and rated M for possible lemons.

"The Moment to Fight": Aizen succeeds in destroying Karakura town and making the King's Key. He takes over Soul Society in one fell swoop. The small colony of survivors-turned-freedom fighters have their work cut out for them if they're going to make things right...A/N: There will be character death, fighting and adventure, romance and humor, and obviously it's AU. Probably will be rated M. (4 chapters outlined so far 6/26)

"I Fell Apart": The War has been won and, after a couple of years, things have settled down a bit for the captains. Hitsugaya Toushiro and his vice captain take a break in the real world but the Kurosakis make sure it isn't too peaceful...A/N: This is my first attempt at a Toushiro/Karin pairing. It'll be a little fluffy, a little angsty, and a little romancy. Probably rated T. (10 chapters outlined so far 6/26)

"Gift of the Spirits": Father, Mentor, Brother, Friend, Master, Lover…Shortly after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai, Aang is summoned to the spirit world. He returns with a small bundle and a huge burden… (This is a canon-shipped continuation story taking place immediately after the end of the series.)
