Author has written 2 stories for Fire Emblem, and Tales of Symphonia. Some things I want to work on after "In the shadow of the Black Knight": League of Assasins: A fic about what happend to Jaffar after Fire Emblem Blazing sword. Jaffar has been on the run for a year now, but his life takes a drastic turn when he meets a young girl who wants to become an assasin. She stalkes Jaffar until he agrees to train her, meanwhile Jaffar must put up with both her,and the mysteriously hired mercenaries that want his life.-The Angel of Death has been abroad throughout the land; you may almost hear the beating of his wings."- John Bright. Mertoid: Blood of the Huntress: lack of summary- Space is big. You just won't belive how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space"- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams. Metriod: Armor of the Dark Hunter: Lack of summary- "Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase...The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who do survive."- Dune by Frank Herbert Travels of the Battousai series: a crossover fic between Rurouni Kenshin and Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, Tales of Symphonia, and Zelda. (Rurouni Kenshin is the only anime I've ever watched)- "He who strays discovers new paths"- Nils Kjaer Tales of Kharlan: The story of what happened to Kratos after he exiled himself into the void of space.- "In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry, and has been widely regareded as a bad idea"- Douglas Adams Caravan of Angles: The story of the four seraphim's journey- "Life is like stepping onto a boat that is about to sail out to sea and sink" Shunryu Suzuki Somethings I found out (these are not original works): Life an Owners Manual 1.) Think in shads of gray, act in black and white, dream in color. 2.)Don't take you successes too seriously; every accomplishment owes something to luck. 3.) Work quietly to improve yourself. 4.)No one ever confessed a shortcoming to another without lying a little. 5.) Be different only if you really are, working too hard at at show on non-conformity wasts your ingenuity and everyone else's time. 6.) Look your best every day, it will raise your standards and lift your spirits. 7.) Leave big talk to small people. 8.) Talk mostly about positive things. 9.) Everyone has complaints, but the world is still full of large wonders and small pleasures. 10.) Encourage other people's dreams. 11.) Don't talk to children in a way intended to amuse adults, you'll be communicating with neither. 12.) Small compliments delivered regularly are more valuable, and more valued, than expensive gifts delivered occasionally. 13.) Go out of your way to have a friendly word to an unpopular person. 14.) Remember that any pleasure can be ruined by overindulgence, including hearing the sound of your own voice. 15.) You successes are not dependent on anyone else's failure; share what you have learned. 16.) Learn to listen; it will gain you a reputation as a good conversationalist. 17.) Call someone back before it's your turn. 18.) Good manners are like good grooming, once you've formed the habit you won't notice but everyone else will. 19.) Remember that there has never been any such thing as over-night successes. 20.) Genius without perseverance is wasted. 21.) Say "yes" more often. 22.) Politeness is difficult to maintain in a context of intimate familarity, this is the principal value of frequent houseguests. 23.) Beware of ridiculing other people's cloths or tastes; no quality is more fleeting than fasionability. 24.) It is natural and fitting to be proud of your accomplishments; but let someone else tell the stories. 25.) The faults we resent most are the faults we recognize most readily; think how much there is to be learned from someone you can't stand. 26.) Don't ask what name a man gives his god; ask what tolerance he offers to his fellow man. 27.) Make your own rules, but live by your own heart. Desiderata Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have thier story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interestred in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical and about love, for in the face of all aridity and disanchantment, it is as pernnial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy. | |||||||
