Well, I suppose that I should actually write something in my Profile.

I am currently a postgraduate student at University, and I love to spend time reading fiction to balance out the non-fiction I have to study for my course of study.

Unfortunately, I no longer write Fan Fiction on a regular basis, I simply do not have the time these days to actually complete anything, so I mostly read and review. Please don't make the assumption that I have little or no experience because I don't have any stories posted on this site. I am available to Beta read during the summer months.

Please feel free to contact me if you want to discuss a review that I have posted for your story, and I apologise if they're a bit rubbish. I like to give credit where it is due, and occasionally note observations. I offer any advice with regards to grammar and spelling with the best possible intentions, and only if it is glaringly obvious to me when reading through a story and I feel it detracts from the overall story. One day I will learn to write a 'well-rounded critique', but that will have to wait until I've critiqued the books I am reading for my degree!

I love to read Doctor Who (which is turning into something of an obsession), Hawaii Five-0, and Sherlock Holmes stories. I direct you to the excellent All Creatures Great and Small section, it is an example of excellent fanfic that has plotting, spot-on characterization and is very well researched and written. This is a fandom that has been severely underrepresented in the world of fan fiction, and it is such a joy to see some here.

I love stories that adhere to Canon, but I don't mind deviation from Canon if it is well written and has a logical basis. I also do not like OOC stories unless there is a very good reason.

Thanks for reading!
