Hello! I go by the pen name Birnam Wood, and I write Harry Potter fan fiction, as you can see. I'm currently writing a giant, complex, epic trilogy about Dumbledore and his family, which is probably one of the craziest things I've ever done, but also one of the most fun.

I have put quite a bit of work into this trilogy, and while I'm nowhere near as talented as many writers, I hope that you'll enjoy it nonetheless.

I try as hard as I can to stick to canon, and I have researched a good deal, but I'm bound to slip up, so please don't hesitate to correct me if I've made a really stupid mistake.

Also, as a bit of a warning, there will be many, many original characters, especially in the first part (the main character himself is original). I hope that won't put you off. There will certainly be no Mary Sues or Gary Stus, and I can say that with confidence. I love characters, characterisation is extremely important to me, and I take care to put a lot of effort into it.

What else is there to say? If you read my story, please leave a review! It's always nice to know that somebody's actually reading it. Even if it's just to say 'I like it', or 'You screwed this up, such-and-such a person wasn't even born then', I'll be very, very happy!
