I'm back to writing, and the new chapter of Principles is up on my Livejournal. For whatever reason, my computer won't let me click on anything with a scroll selection on this site, so I can't choose the chapter to upload to the story. I've broken two fingers on my dominant hand, so I'm unable to type much right now. My fingers should heal by the end of January, so I will get back to writing around then. Until then, I will keep updating my LJ with my fic progress. Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year!

I have just posted my Justin/Alex story written for LJ's apocabigbang challenge, Dark Side of Today. I had so much fun, I've already planned two sequels for it, haha. Hell, I even made a banner for it. Anyway, you should totally check out the accompanying fanmix located here. It is terrific, and full of lovely atmospheric song selections.

I'm 25 years old. I don't write fan fiction very often, but when I do, I hope it's good.

I believe people love who they love. That's why I ship all sorts of stuff, even consensual incest. Don't like? Don't read.

Also, I don't give a damn about canon a lot of the time.

Novels I recommend:

The Line Between (part of The Young Writers Series) by Kelsie Nygren. She's one of my friends, and though this is her first novel and she was only 16 while writing it, I highly recommend it because she has a great talent and a bright future ahead of her as a writer. If any of you happen to read this book and would like to send your thoughts about it to the author, I will happily pass along the message. Constructive criticism is always most appreciated by writers (or it should be if they want to improve their craft).

Fanfiction I recommend:

Dante's Stars by Pretani. It's a brilliant fic for A Series of Unfortunate Events, with the pairing of Violet/Klaus, which was one of my first incest ships. Pretani is a fantastic writer, whose skill with the written word really brings you into the story she's weaving. There is so much I love about the novels and the film for this series, and Pretani really only increases my love for the Baudelaires, their unfortunate struggles and eventual triumphs, and especially the palpable passion and love between Violet and Klaus. And a huge plus for the fact that she still updates her story and is finishing it up soon. I'm going to be very sad when that day comes, but the journey will be so worth it.

Principles Notes:

A post-Chapter VI note: Oh, hah, did anyone else besides me find it interesting that in the Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana special, Justin apparently doesn't know the Heimlich Maneuver? (And Alex does?) Even though he's CPR certified? Can I tell you that the Heimlich is easier than CPR? But whatever. I'm sticking with my theory that Justin should know both. XD

A post-Chapter X note: Seriously, people. Stop asking when Jalex will happen. Can't you tell by reading that's it's not going to happen any time soon? It may be a while. Though I believe it will all be worth the wait when it finally does happen. Okay? For my sanity, please stop asking. And stop commenting about how incest disgusts you, because it's only going to get worse as the story progresses -- you do realize that, don't you? Yeah, so, thanks.
