So I've decided to pretty much revamp my profile. Hi, I'm Gigi.

A few things you should know about me:
1) I've been writing fics since 2005 and reading them for a few months longer than that.
2) I was introduced into the fanfic world after my love of Gilmore Girls resulted in an obsession with Lorelai and Luke.
3) A lot of my life is taken up by writing (although I want to be a doctor). I was News Editor of the school newsmagazine (which was awarded best in the state two years in a row) and now am Editor Emeritus (retired editor...I can no longer take the class, but I'll still be a big part of production). I am also the new Editor-in-Chief of the school's litmag (also award-winning. I'll stop bragging now and balance it out with fact #4).
4) I have started 33 fics and have only finished 8 of them. I'm very stubborn and refuse to admit when a story is over.
5) I'm obsessed with a few things: Gilmore Girls, Broadway (Idina and Kristin mostly), Private Practice, Grey's Anatomy (to a lesser extent), Pushing Daisies (kind of hard since they ended it so prematurely), Desperate Housewives (it's a new obsession) and (guilty pleasure) Sailor Moon.
6) I love to sing...just thought I'd throw that in there.
7) I've actually started pining after Addison and Alex. They never got their shot, and you cannot deny their chemistry. Even in season 2, you can cut the sexual tension with a knife. As I was telling one of my favorite authors, Darling Pretty, she was McBitch and he was McCocky in season 2 because that's the only way they kept themselves from jumping each other right there in the OR. And yes, I truly believe that.
8) I always say that Addison and Pete are my favorite Addie-pairing, but honestly it's just so I won't curl up in a ball and cry over the fact that there will be few to no future scenes/relationship potential for Addison and Alex. I watch Addisex YouTube videos to make myself feel better. Truth is, I love Addie and Pete, Addie and Kevin, Addie and Alex, Addie and Derek...it's really hard not to love them. I love that Mark the man-whore loves Addie, and although I don't really like them together, I got kinda pissed when he fell for Lexi Grey because that meant that someone had beaten Addie. Refer to number 11, subsection 3.
9) I'm pretty sure I'm falling in love with Alex. Not Justin Chambers, because he's married with like fifty kids. But Alex. I'm watching Addison and Alex clips on YouTube and my heart skips a beat. OH, I need help. Professional help.
--I get genuinely upset watching Alex and Izzie and Alex and Ava. Ava because she's the bitch who pretty much broke up Addison and Alex, and Izzie because he's so damn perfect to her that it isn't fair. Addison is way more deserving of that perfection than Izzie.
10) Apparently, I have this obsession with pregnant Addison. I don't know why. Maybe it's the whole miracle baby thing that always makes me all giddy inside, but I have written her pregnant in at least 3 fics.
11) I live in Gigi-land, where it is perfectly possible for Alex's storyline to wrap up in Grey's and start anew in LA at a small co-op called Oceanside Wellness. There are some rules in Gigi-land: 1. Some things will never happen in Gigi-land, such as Violet and Pete, Addison and Noah, Alex and Ava, and simple storylines. 2. If you think that these have a chance in Gigi-land, I won't tell you to refer to number 1. I will draw on your face in sharpie at night. Forget sharpie. The amazing indelible marker. 3. No one beats Addison.

In the works...

~Just be aware, school has started back so I might be (okay, I AM) reverting a bit to my crappy updating habits, NOT that that should keep you from reviewing and reading. I'm just warning you.

~I'm revising my first ever fic, The Incredible Rising Lorelai, into an abbreviated, better written version. I have no idea how long it will take to get out the first chapter, but it's getting written!

~I'm also in the process of writing the first chapter to a new Gilmore Girls fic (Lorelai and Luke of course), and for now, it's called Replay. It takes place after Partings, only Lorelai didn't sleep with Chris. Be on the lookout!

~Another story in the woodwork: A Deleted Affair. It's an Addison/Pete fic starting off of this absolutely adorable deleted scene from season one. It's in the episode, In Which Addison Finds the Magic, and I really, really wish it hadn't been cut, but yeah. That's on the way, too.

~New story: Better Together. It's an Addison/Alex fic starting off at the end of "Invest in Love," when Bailey tells Alex he would be good in pediatrics. Phsawww. He would be good in Obstetrics, Gynecology, Neonatal Surgery and ADDISON MONTGOMERY. (Woops. Cue the "That's what she said" joke.)

~New story: A Cosmic Joke. It's Addison and Alex all the way. It picks up after Desire, and it's really, really ironic and funny and all that jazz. I'm too tired to write a complete summary. Just trust me when I say you should totally read it.

~Chapter 3 of my Addison and Derek fic, Better to Have Loved, is now up! It is entitled "Make Eternity Longer." Now read it, otherwise I'll make eternity last forever before I update again haha.

~New story: 3. The third in my series of one-shots based on Addison and Alex called "Love Game." In case you can't tell, it's about a rather un-Addison situation involving a couple certain interns. If you still can't tell what I'm insinuating, just read it, because you should read it anyway. Remember that these stories are in no way linked!

~New story: Gorgeous is Addison and Derek, but I threw in a little Addisex into the 4000+ word first chapter. I might make it even more than a little Addisex as the story progresses, but it would just be for flavor or maybe plot advancement. This is an Addison and Derek fic all the way but I definitely think you all should read it because seriously. 4000+ words. Seriously.

~Chapter 6 of The Best Man, "Never Leave the Party," is now up!

~I've got major writer's block for A Dog Bite, so suggestions are always welcome.

~I haven't forgotten all my non-Addie-centric fics, don't worry. I'm just obsessed with Addison/Kate Walsh at the moment.

Oh, and kind of important: Reviews are my drug, my dope, my coke, my crack, my methamphetamine (I hope someone understands this reference, but chances are, if you're not French, you won't) -- I go into withdrawal and very well might die without them. If I haven't posted in a few months (like six, because I can be notorious for not updating) check my last review date. If I haven't gotten any new ones, no need for an autopsy.
