Age: 19 (just entered University as a Freshman, majoring in Accounting. Argh, accounting is killing my grades! Blew my last mid term exam)

Residence: Hong Kong (I'm Chinese, and can speak Cantonese and English--not Putonghua/Mandarin!)

First of all, I'd like to let you know one important fact: I'm no writer--I've never been one and will never be. There are many, many good reasons as to why I don't write fanfictions. One, I'm not gifted with writing. (a.k.a. My writing SUCKS!! ... and I admit it... sigh) I simply don't have the ideas, creativity or originality to come up with a decent story that others would find interesting. It wouldn't be surprising to find that there'll be zero reviews if I DO put up a fic. Heh. And two, my grammar, again, sucks. I wouldn't want you guys to waste your time and energy in trying to read something incomprehensible. Yeah. There's tons of better fanfictions out there! So go read something better!! The above 2 reasons are technical reasons, but a personal reason for not writing is here: Three, I'm simply LAZY -_-" I'm too lazy to think beyond the original storyline in order to add some spins and develop a fanfic myself; I'm too lazy to put them into words and type them into my computer even if I do have a rare and sudden inspiration; and I'm too lazy to really find out if my stories or ideas are really that pathetic coz I'm too lazy to try and post them up to see the reactions from other readers in the first place. Haha, so now it seems that it's really because of my own lazyness that I don't write fanfic!! Heh, me bad. However, having said that, there's still a tiny bit of possibility (note the choice of word: tiny, meaning close to none) that I may one day (meaning: in the far, far, FAR future) consider, and finally, write something.

OK, so now that you understand why I don't write fanfictions, you may have wondered why I'm still here, with a registered account. I may not be a writer, but the least I can do is to be a good reviewer! You know, all of you writers out there make my day happier with your great fics. I truly enjoy reading fanfictions, it's one of the joys of my life. But since I don't contribute back with my own fics, it is kind of unfair to you guys, when you've spent lots of time and effort to write something for others to read and enjoy, but I myself didn't do anything in return. So, I've made up my mind to be a good reviewer--good in the sense that I use a signed account name, haha~ :P--and give reviews to you, writers, out there to show my gratitude and appreciation and, hopefully, encourage you more :D

Hobbies

Besides reading (including fanfics, manga and normal books), I also enjoy watching anime, drawing anime characters, playing video games, playing the piano, solving puzzles, sleeping, eating, and anything that is not related to chores or work (whether they are school-work or out-of-school-kind-of-work).

Mario Brothers 1, 2, and 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart (SNES, 64, GameCube, and NDS), Mario Party 1, 2, Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Story, Tetris Attack!, Kirby's Dreamcourse, Kirby's Super Star, and other Kirby games (forgot their full name), the Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Four Swords, Twilight Princess), Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Pokemon (except Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald), Tales of Symphonia, Wave Race (N64 and Gamecube), Pikmin, Sonic (forgot their names), Final Fantasy games, Gundam games, Star Wars games, and much much more (again, couldn't recall all of them)

Notes: Come to think of it, it's only now that I've listed out the games that I've found out I've played A LOT!! o_o" And most of the games (if you've noticed) are Nintendo games. Heh, I've got almost all Nintendo consoles and hand-held devices: the NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii; the oldest GameBoy, GameBoy Color, Game Boy Advance, and NDS. I've played some PS2 Games too, but unfortunately, I haven't one at home--only played my cousin's or friends' PS2. Perhaps I'll buy one in the future. I'm kind of a semi-hard core player myself, I have to say so. I hate losing, and don't give up a game easily and like to complete the game TOTALLY. But I'm not good at fighting games. I like action, racing and RPG games though!

Books I've read

Animorph (um... read almost all, I think. Really good.), Artemis Fowl (all 5), Harry Potter (all 7), the Saga of Darren Shan (all 12), Lord of the Rings, Redwall (dunno how many around 13 of its series?), Stravaganza (the City of Masks, the City of Stars, the City of Flowers), The Oracle, The Archon, The Scarab. Other books include Star Wars, Star Trek, Goosebumps, Fear Street, etc. Forgot the others.

Notes: I have to say, I really really really like reading!! Mind you, I only read English books, not Chinese (though I'm one). Dunno why I just hate Chinese... and Chinese hates me too. Anyway, most of the books I've read are fiction. Teen/Junior teen fiction. Lately, I haven't had time to read nor find some more interesting books (Any suggestions or recommendations?), so most of these listed here are quite old. And I don't know why, but almost every time I buy/read a book, it later turns out to be the first part of a long series. Just my luck... I hate not knowing what happens in the later series, so eventually I couldn't resist buying their sequels and hence end up collecting the whole series... me poor bookshelf is totally jammed, full of my books. So, aside from time constraint, the lack of space for storing my books have created a major problem and now I'm more reluctant to try out new books, mainly coz I have to find space for them... Another reason for reading fanfictions--not only are they fun and interesting to read, but they're VIRTUAL and so do not take up space:P

So... I guess that's all about me. To summarize everything, I'm an anime + video game freak, and a book lover who (unfortunately) is too lazy to write fanfictions and is content enough to only read others' works -_-". But you authors out there need not worry, I'll definitely squeeze in some time to review your stories, as that's my original intention for registering!
