let me start off by saying i'm terribly self centered. no, really. so don't be surprised if you count the "i"s through this profile and come up with a million. we can all blame grissom and catherine (csi) for introducing me to ff.net. well, to be more accurate, the folks over at graveshift csi who posted the links of their work here. then i ventured into the csi: new york pages, then house, m.d., and that was enough for me for a while. but tv and books and an active imagination make for a party in my head, and soon i got lost in so many more stories here in ff. i love browsing through csi and csi:ny, house, nancy drew/hardy boys, l.m.montgomery, jane austen, school of rock, and my current favorite, harry potter. i love humor fics, ranging from the acerbic wit of house to the bickering of ron and hermione. i'm also a hopeless romantic, but what i love most of all are romantic comedies. best of both worlds, huh? as i've been reading mostly harry potter these days (i can't even get through a day's worth of fic postings in one sitting), i've learned little by little which are my favourite kinds. well, unique stories, for one, such as the two i recently read from hermione's parents' pov, and the one from the fat lady. i also love the ones talking about death, the two i lraved at are in my favorites list. of course i love romance, and if it's remus/tonks, harry/ginny and ron/hermione i'd most likely read it. and brilliant, non-cliche marauder era fics, i also have a favorite author for that. and if the summary doesn't have glaring grammar errors, i'll probably read that story. i've actually written my very first fic, but i'm letting it stew in its own juices for a bit (and after some helpful comments from lady bracknell) before i post it here. i've got a few WIPs with various pairings, and hopefully i get at least one done soon. but alas, my mac/stella will have to wait a long while before i get around to it, for my mind is filled to the brim with harry potter. | |||||||
