Author has written 1 story for Zelda. "Money can't buy happiness, but hapiness can't buy goods and services." -Ben Morrison I'm 18, now legally able to drink, drive and vote (although hopefully not in that order) and from Melbourne Australia. I'm going in year twelve, so I''m afraid my writing on this site might be a bit sporadic. I'll do my best to keep my stories going. I currently have a folio piece that I'd like feedback on. You can find it here. Anything you say will be helpful, especially constructive criticism (PM me if you're shy : P ). My favourite books are Hitch Hiker's guide and Catch 22, although I write in neither of their styles (I'd like to be able to though...). I'm also a huge fan of Peter F. Hamilton. I'm a bit of a sci-fi fan. Random experience: Tonight I fed the magpies again. It was one of the parents and the two children. The youngest one is still practically a chick. It's finally started to grow up a little. It no longer trips over things (who's ever heard of a bird that trips over?), and doesn't call out ceaselessly like the real young ones do. He still won't eat out of my hand, but he comes very close and considers it all the time. I'm not sure what it's going to take actually get it to eat out of my hand. Time seems to do it, that's if the elder sibling is anything to go by. He was at the same stage only a couple of months ago. Now he's almost fully grown. The only hints that he's a young adult is the grey feathers that should be white and the way he still gobbles his food, like his younger brother. The parents never do this, no matter how small the piece of cheese I give them they still have to break it down further, I don't know why. My mother thinks that it might be because their gullet shrinks as they mature, but I doubt this. I'm sure I'll find out one day. In the mean time I just keep an eye out for them. They're very cute. They don't come here every day, but when they do they all stand the back door waiting for me. Not making a fuss just standing, looking in, and waiting patiently for me to come out. | |||||
