Speaks English, Mandarin, Japanese and a bit of French. For the lovely readers: It has been so long since I updated my profile, so I figured I should do something about it. There are a few things I have to do when I get the time to, and here they are, classified under each respective fandom I write for. In no order of preference, Sesshoumaru/Kagome (Inuyasha) 1) Complete my most popular fic till date, namely "Love after Loss". It is kind of ironical, really, when it is not my favorite story out of all my works but nonetheless, it was the most well-received one. I surprised myself with "Love after Loss" - the plot just flowed like a raging river. Never had I fleshed out a story in my mind so quickly. I will finish it, that's a promise. 2) Complete "Wisteria". This is my pride and joy. It was the first time I experimented with Sesshoumaru/Kagome in the Canon setting, and tried incorporating Japanese culture into it, and once again, you guys were so patient and lovely in waiting for me to update. I will definitely update soon, and I sincerely hope you guys agree with me that Wisteria is too beautiful to be forgotten. 3) "Once upon an Edo night". This is my pride and joy. I nicknamed it my 'baby'. It is a short story, with only 3 chapters, but it is the story that made me feel the most. The emotional rollercoaster was almost too much for me to bear, and as I listened to the song which inspired this story, I found myself crying a little. As you can guess by now, this is my favorite story till date. I absolutely adore it. I explored the option of writing a prequel to this story, and possibly a sequel, but I haven't gotten around to doing it. The prequel will definitely be written, but I am not too sure about the sequel. I thought it might be beautiful just the way it is - short, sweet, poignant. Sanosuke/Megumi (Rurouni Kenshin) 1) Complete "Phobia", my comeback fic after a two year hiatus in this fandom. I love writing Sanosuke/Megumi fics just as much as I like the Sesshoumaru/Kagome, but what makes this couple special to me is the amazing way they bicker and snap at each other. On top of that, Sanosuke's characterization is easier than Sesshoumaru's. I've been focusing on this story lately, and I am enjoying the process of writing very much indeed. 2) A new story for Sanosuke/Megumi. My hyperactive muse came up with new ideas again, much to my annoyance, given the number of unfinished works I have. This one is going to be sad, sad and more sad. I will not reveal too much here (partly because I love these ideas too much), but it will take place in a Canon setting, though the story will have hardly any links to the original RK story. It will be based predominantly on Sanosuke and Megumi, and their relationship. There will be the more mature social themes such as class struggle, gender discrimination and so on. I am very hyped up about this, but I will resist the temptation. Allen/Lenalee (D. Grayman) 1) I have an enormous plot bunny bouncing on the vast plains of my dreamy mind. I have somehow noticed that there is "westernization" of Lenalee's character and somehow, I feel like doing a story that focuses on her ethnicity. Perhaps it is because she is Chinese like I am, and I just wanted to write a long story looking into their relationship with the conflicting perspectives of a British man and a Chinese girl. Currently, I am still thinking about it, but I'd like to write a story set in the early years of colonialism reaching China. I'd like to create something authentic and well thought out, so please give me some time. Also, I would need to research on certain themes like foot-binding in China back in that time. Such themes would appear in my story as well. Others I will be discontinuing the story "Heaven's Scrapbook". I hope you guys can understand, and I am deeply sorry about it.
