Hello,
Yeah, life has been quite hectic lately. For a start, me and two of my best friends all walked out of our jobs after being verbally abused by our supervisor. While it wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done, it was definitely the most awesome. Since then, I've found a new job and am slowly settling in. Also, one of my ferrets decided my laptop was a lovely place to potty . . . I was so not impressed, especially when I realized it had been a while since I'd backed my files up. Luckily, everything dried up and seems to be running fine, I don't know who I have to thank for that little mercy but I owe somebody somewhere big time.
It's also summer, that throws another wrench into my writing plans. The reason: I freeze my ass off for roughly seven months of the year, I'm going to enjoy the five months of warm weather as best as humanly possibly. Generally that means a lot of camping, swimming, and drinking. My favourite things.
Alright, let's do this thing. Harbinger is currently my most active WIP. I'm guessing its going to have maybe three or four more chapters to it. It's mentally been plotted but it hasn't quite made it to the computer, which is never a good thing but still better than having no idea of where its going. Since I'm once again tasting the freedom of being free of a story, it should come together pretty fast. Demon Harry has definitely been the most difficult Harry I've attempted to write, and I'll be very happy to send him back to Hell.
The Lions of Hogwarts is a WIP. It seems like its going to remain that way forever . . . but I know better. Chapter four is in progress, still. As soon as Harbinger is complete, the Lions of Hogwarts will become my primary fic (and this time I mean it!).

Have you ever read a book that's so good you just have to tell everyone about it? Well, I'm going to share, even though nobody reads these things anyway. The Tomorrow Series by John Marsden. I laughed, I cried, and I followed it to the very end. It took me months to find all seven books and a mere two days to read them all. Anyway, the series is about a group of teenagers in Australia who go camping only to find that their country has been taken over during a war that occured while they were gone. I highly recommend it.
I'll read anything. If it has pages with numbers, I'll read it (which is why I didn't do my grade ten academic math homework. I don't know whether to thank my best friend for whiting the page numbers in my math book out or be content with the fact that she had to repeat the class with me.). Sherrilyn Kenyon, Charlaine Harris, Laurell K. Hamilton, Christopher Moore, Janet Evanovich, Elizabeth Haydon, J. D. Robb (Nora Robers), Tami Hoag, Elizabeth Peters, Barb & J. C. Hendee, Maggie Shayne, Christine Warren, Christine Feehan, Mercedes Lackey, Tanya Huff, and Shannon Drake. I've never read a bad book, if there's no blood shed or death within the first two hundred pages I do tend to get a little bored, but that's workable.
However, I can honestly say I never finished reading Wicked by Gregory Maguire. My one friend raved about how good it was. She went to see the play and bought several of his other books and I'm stuck at page one hundred thirty-seven. It was truly a dismal day when I had to admit I'd purchased a book I had no interest in reading.
Cheers!
