1) Remember on ff7 after sector 7 was blown up? And cloud originally intended to rescue Aerith from the ShinRa building on his own until Barret and Tifa caught up with him? What if they didn’t and how would you think Cloud would save her on his own?
2) A KH challenge, how would you think the story would go if Aerith was a princess of heart as well?
3) Aerith is living rough but is fighting as hard as she can to protect herself and her 5-year-old son Sora from Sephiroth, she must hide but is now running out of options. Soon she meets up with her old friend Tifa who lets them stay but Aerith wont tell anyone what is going on. Cloud, Tifa’s neighbour, can’t help but try to get involved since he has a history with Sephiroth.
4) Cloud is becoming more aware of his emotions for the flower girl, so when he finally finds the courage to do something about it, he decides to tell her...alone. He couldn't do it in front of the audience of their friends. He tries to find a way to take her somewhere private but sadly, there's too much of a crowd with her attention. What does it take to get her alone?
5) Aerith's best friend's Tifa and Yuffie have persuaded her to come out with them on a "Girl's Night Out"
That meant that her husband Cloud would have to stay and take care of their twins Sora and Roxas by himself. Will he be able to control his hyper, active sons alone?
6) Inspired by the manga movie "Perfect Blue"
Aerith is a talented singer and actress. To the world, she has all a girl could ask for...money, fame, glory...but there is another story behind the camera...
The media and agency exploit her, fighting over what is best for her, all she does is smile and wont speak her mind. Some believe that the way she was treated in the past affects how she acts today.
After she is attacked by an unidentified person after the 3rd time in one month, they hire cloud strife as a bodyguard to protect her. As he keeps as eye on her, he becomes concerned...can he protect her from her stalker aswell as her mind and spirit?
Ankosune's Clorith Challenge Choices1) Aerith is a princess who doesn't want to be one, forced by her father to marry a man she doesn't want to marry (Sephiroth, Zack, etc.). So one day, she runs away and spends the night in an inn (or wherever fits). The only problem is, there's not enough room for her, and she is forced to share a room with none other than Cloud Strife. He seems like a good guy at first...until the man she is betrothed to shows up and tells her that Cloud is actually a wanted murderer!
2) (based on the anime/manga "Ayashi no Ceres" by Yuu Watase) Aerith Gainsborough is just your ordinary teenage girl who's about to turn sixteen. She has ordinary friends, ordinary parents, a generally ordinary life at least until her sixteenth birthday, when she suddenly turns into a heavenly maiden (whatever you want to name her) who's intent on getting revenge on the man who stole her Holy Materia (or whatever you want). And if that isn't enough, her entire family, proclaiming her to be too much of a danger to their future, wants her dead. Despite this, she soon finds herself falling in love with the mysterious yet handsome Cloud Strife, who had been hired to work for her family some time before. Too bad he's one of the people out to kill her!
3) Cloud and Aerith have been friends for as long as either of them can remember. But when a terrible accident causes Aerith to lose her memory, Cloud realizes just how important she is to him. (Terribly cliche, I know. .)
4) (Another vampire fic...go figure.) The merchant ship S.S. Midgar (or whatever you want to name it) is on its way to deliver a new shipment of exports to Wutai (or wherever) when they are suddenly attacked by a wayward battleship, most likely stolen from Midgar's ports. Suspecting pirates, the crew, led by Cloud Strife, puts up a valiant effort to defend their ship, but in the end, they are defeated. The attackers' leader, Aerith, demands that they give up one member of their crew if they want the rest to be spared. Cloud, not wanting any more trouble, bravely gives himeself up, and he, Aerith, and her crew sail away, leaving the rest of those on the merchant ship unharmed. What Cloud doesn't realize, however, is that he has just surrendered himself to a boat full of thirsty vampires...
Beeria's Clorith Challenge Choices
1) Kinda AU in a way: When Aeris dies, the lifestream transported her to Earth. Cloud kills himself to be with her and also ends up on earth. Write about their adventures on our Planet.
2) An AU. Cloud and Aeris were best friends when they were younger and fell in love but when Aeris(or Aerith) moves away,they lost touch. Cloud married a girl(Tifa, Yuffie whoever you want) but when he meets Aeris again, he gets his old feelings back and wants to be with her. Who will he choose?
3) Tifa tries to get Cloud to love her but he says he still wants Aeris/Aerith. She gets angry and they end up fighting to the point where Tifa kicks him out. With no where else to go, Cloud runs off to Aerith’s Church and gets a surprise when he sees Aerith/Aeris there
4) Aeris has always thought Cloud Strife to be an arrogant self-absorbed boy and Cloud has always thought of Aeris Gainsborough as a goody-two shoes. When they are forced to work together on a school project, will they be able to overcome their differences and find the attractive side of one another?
5) A.U Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart are the perfect couple. He's a handsome prince and she's a beautiful Princess. Their parents want them to marry to unite their kingdoms. However, one day, while away from the castle (he can be in the forest, market wherever you want) Cloud spots a girl (Aerith) from afar and she approaches him. They soon become friends but eventually he ends up falling in love with her. But as his wedding to Tifa draws closer he’ll have to chose between his heart and his duty.
6) An AU. Cloud's mother is marrying a man he hates and he has never met his soon to be stepsister Aerith/Aeris. When he eventually does meet her, he finds himself instantly attracted to her. But when he finds out who she really is, will they still be able to share their love? Or will they abandon their feelings to stop themselves shaming their family?
7) Cloud has always lived on the streets. However when he gets ill one day, a rich girl called Aerith/Aeris helps him. As time passes they find themselves falling in love. But can their love ever overcome the barriers of rich and poor?
8) Aeris/Aerith has always believed that everything happens for a reason. One day, while selling flowers, she spots a blonde man(Cloud) and offers him a flower. But somehow, she feels that she knows him? Sort of AU but you can link it to the game if you want.
9) The Kingdoms of Cetra and Jenova have always hated each other and now there is a full-scale war between them. The Cetra want a return to nature and agricultural ways instead of destroying the Planet. Those who support Jenova(who can be like a God or the Queen, you decide) want to move forward to industrial ways During the war, the Cetra decide to train women to be spies since they are not allowed to fight on the battlefield. Aerith, the Cetraian Princess, sneaks away from the palace and joins the group. But when she arrives at the house she is meant to be spying on, she didn’t count on falling in love with the mysterious blonde man who lives there.
KittyCatriona's Clorith Challenges Choices
1) Inspired by "How to lose a guy in 10 days" Aerith/Aeris and Cloud work for different magazines and are having trouble thinking of new articles. When Aerith/Aeris' best friend(up to you whether its Tifa, Yuffie, Jessie etc) breaks up with her boyfriend because she was too clingy, Aerith/Aeris decides to write the magazine article telling how they can lose a guy in 10 days. She chooses Cloud Strife as her guinea pig after meeting him in a bar. Unknown to her he's on a bet that he can make a woman fall in love with him in 10 days. And Aerith just happens to be the lucky girl. Will it be happy ever after? Or disaster?
2) Oneshot or full length fic. What do you think would have happened if Cloud had caught Aerith/Aeris' hand at the end of the game?
3) Marlene visits Aerith's Church to see if the water has dried up from when the Cetra healed everyone from Geostigma. It hasnt. As she looks into the water she sees two reflections, her own..and Aerith's. What does it mean?
4) Aerith and Cloud have been close friends for years but one drunken night then end up in bed together. Will the night ruin their friendship? Totally up to you how the story goes, whether Aerith gets pregnant or not, whether it changes friendship or makes them become a couple.
Nox Wicked's(GhostintheMirror) Clorith Challenge Choices
1) I got this from that movie "She's the Man". Make it so that either Cloud or Aerith go undercover as the opposite sex to school for some reason. For Aerith it could before a sport - like in the movie. But Cloud...that would be interesting! It could be something like, A girl has something special of his, or maybe he's a cop, or maybe he just got dared to do something stupid! Its totally up to you!
2) One of them accidentally drank a love potion, but instead, it repels the true love, and attracts all of the other characters(Of any gender too! But try not ot make this a yaoi/yuri...)
3) Both Cloud and Aerith are In Rival Bands competing for the top spot in the music charts (I think this idea has already been played around within the KH section but I'm not sure...if it is, then tell me right away and I'll take this off)
4) An AU fic where Cloud found something of Aeriths (like her ribbon, or her materia) and broke it, so now her ghost is haunting him, and trying to make his life as difficult and as miserable as possible (Not letting him get any sleep, messing up his chances with other women, making him miss work, etc.)
5) Another AU fic where Aerith's been sold as a servant to the prince Cloud, and if she doesn't do well at her job, she'll be executed or something. It's up to you on how she manages to stay alive.
6) AU...again. Can be a One-shot or a full-length fic. Where Cloud finds a magic genie named Aerith, and gets either one wish, or three, or however many you want him to have.
7) A role-reversal fic. where Aerith is in soldier(she can still be a magic user if you want her to be though!), and falls in on the cetra Cloud (who can still be a swordsman!) in the church.
8) One of those vampire fics that you find in almost every RPG section of this site.
9) Idea suggested by Agita Omega. Based on the anime series 'Elfen Lied'. Aeris is a homicidal scientific experiment who has been beaten one too many times by the cruel scientists who examine her. Finally, she gets the chance to escape, and does so by massacring the entire faculty of scientists and soldiers who get in her way, using telekinesis. But as she leaves the building, one remaining soldier picks up a gun and fires straight at her head. The bullet only nicks her, but she ends up losing her memory. She still manages to escape (up to you how!) and is found by a young man named Cloud and his friend Tifa. They name her 'Aerith' (Up to you why) and let her stay with them. But the rest of the scientists are still looking for her, and they won't stop until they can find and destroy her - Even worse - each time Aerith remembers parts of her past, Aeris resurfaces...with all the same killer intent she left her prison with!
10) Don't know where this idea came from but what if FF7 was an online game? Think about it! Maybe Cloud meets Aerith, and then there's a player killer named Sephiroth, and they all make a part of everyone in the game, meteor could be like a virus or something, etc.
11) Zack breaks up with Aerith because she isn't strong enough, and he doesn't have time to worry about her all the time when he joins SOLDIER. To prove him wrong, she decides to try and get into SOLDIER. When she gets there, she meets up with a young man named Cloud, who happens to be in the same training group as she is. The rest is up to you!
Princess of the Knight's Clorith Challenge Choices
1) Aerith is a level headed girl and never shown much interested in boys. Cloud on the other hand has always been cold and uncaring until he saved Aerith from thugs while she was selling flowers. Something about Cloud's past is haunting him (Whatever you want) and that is why he pushes people away. Yet, the two slowly begin to fall in love.
2) Cloud and Aerith are best friends for a long time and nothing more. Then Aerith begins to date a man (Sephiroth, Zack, whoever you want) Cloud begins to realize just how much Aerith means to him.
3) Cloud is a famous rock star who loses his passion for his music, family, and girlfriend (whoever you want her to be). Cloud hides out in a small town to try and rekindle his love for music when he meets Aerith a girl who's dreams and passion for life inspire him in more ways than one. Aerith has no clue who Cloud is (He disguises himself and stuff). Soon Cloud thinks of giving up his life as a rock star but his die hard fans, girlfriend, and family don't want it. They will do anything to push them apart not to mention Aerith's overprotective mother and her die hard fan of cloud and best friend.
4) Aerith is a virgin princess, hidden away from the world and promised to be one of the wives of a tyrant king. Aerith however, tries to run away (which she has done many times) to free herself of her horrible fate. One night as she escapes she meets Cloud a knight from one of the evil kings court (King can be anyone). Cloud is bound to duty to make sure no one touches Aerith but he soon finds himself slowly falling for her and vise versa.
5) Aerith is a princess (lol) who hates her life (go figure) being stuck in the palace and misunderstood, ignored, and treated as an object by every man she meets. During a grand ball Aerith and Cloud a poor boy living in the outskirts of the kingdom meet. (Unknown to Cloud that Aerith is the princess) the two talk and become friends. Aerith falls for Cloud but when Cloud finds out who Aerith really is he is torn knowing that a poor boy could never be allowed to marry a Princess.
6) Cloud breaks a promise to Aerith resulting in her leaving him, without telling him where she was going. Cloud realizes how much he loves her and sets out to make things right.
7) Aerith and Cloud meet in the lifestream but trouble ensues when Sephiroth appears trying to darken the lifestream by using Cloud as his host.
8) Sephiroth returns to the planet (you figure out how) and sets out to destroy it. Aerith is given back her life in attempts to stop Sephiroth, alone. However, Cloud and the gang find her and are happy she has returned. Cloud feels at peace seeing Aerith, thinking he has a second chance. Yet, Aerith tries to push him and the others away because the moment Sephiroth is defeated she will return to lifestream. She tries to keep that a secret while trying to stop Sephiroth and trying to hide her feelings from Cloud.
9) Cloud is depressed and finds himself walking around Midgar in the rain when he sees a girl similar to Aerith sell flowers. Is it really Aerith, a recarnation, or something else. (You pick).
10) Aerith is a popular, smart, and beautiful teenaged girl. Sephiroth is the strongest, most handsome, popular, atheletic and perfect teenaged boy.Aerith and Sephiroth are the perfect couple. Cloud Strife has a vendetta against Sephiroth from something the silver haired man did in the past (whatever you want). Cloud is out to steal everything from Sephiroth, including his girlfriend by making her fall in love with him and crushing her to hurt Sephiroth. However, he never planned on actaully falling in love with Aerith along the way.
Toshi-Ama's Clorith Challenge Choices
1. As Aerith sinks into the lifestream she wakes up and watches Cloud walk away. She tries to yell, but can't...take it from there...
2. Cloud watched Aerith sink to the bottom in the forgotten cityand becomes depressed. Tifa tries to cheer him up, and out of depression, marrys her. Then one day Aerith returns and finds Cloud, with Tifa..Oh, conflict. Take it from there.
3. Cloud is a homeless man on the street. While sitting on the ground he sees Aerith, a rich girl, with her fiancée. Cloud, thinking she is extremely beautiful, follows them, and learns the fiancée’s deadly secret...take it from there.
4. Aerith and Cloud are both royalty. They never met each other, but runaway and meet up on a boat to the America. They fall in love and end up gettting married, but what will happen when the truth is exposed?
