Hello, hello, and welcome to my newly updated bio!

Well, anyways, this is pinkicing-chan, if any of you were wondering. I decided to change my pen name (obviously) since I thought 'pinkicing101' was just a little...junior-ish. But, anyways, yep, you can all just call me Yuki-chan or whatever you wish.

Wow...I decided to change my bio up a little bit just to make it a little...different...I guess. Hm...let's start with the basics, shall we? I'm a seventeen year old Asian female who loves writing. I also like reading books, but manga is definintely more enjoyable. I like hanging out with my friends outside of school every-once-in-a-while. I mean, I already see them in school; why bother making up more time outside of it?

School has been so stressful lately that I'm glad I enjoy writing or else I'd go crazy. I also play the violin, but I don't seem to enjoy it as much as I used to. Maybe I'm just not tuning in to my inner musician this year...or maybe I'm just being lazy when it comes to practicing. Yep...I think it's that one. :sighs: Trying to keep all my I's capitalized and whatnot is kind of strange. Usually I just end up leaving them lowercase, but I want to look at least a little bit professional. :sweat drop:

And, you know, it's kind of weird. I wish I could write as well as I want to. I don't know if anyone else ever experiences this (but I'm sure you all do as a writer), but I can picture what I want characters to say and do but when I go to write it, it never seems to come out right. I don't know if I'm just not creative enough or if I just need more practice to provide the same picture for my readers that I get running through my head.

I get inspired by everything. Sometimes I'll just be staring off into space and some random thought will pop into my head. Slowly it'll just start developing into some sort of story that I want to bring for life. I get easily side-tracked and start thinking of things from different points of view. Then one thing just becomes another, and before you know it, I'm scribbling away before the inspiration leaves. For example, I've become obsessed with The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I wanted to write a fan fiction with Susan and Caspian, but somehow I felt like I couldn't really capture their emotions or create a good, original story. So I moved on to Edmund (Skandar Keynes--who I'm also a little obsessed with at the moment. I always knew he was going to be good looking. :) ) and thought about creating some new character and weaving her into the world of Narnia. But...I just didn't find that very interesting. So then I moved on to Peter, and slowly things just started coming together. I'm still in the process where I've got a bunch of ideas going and am just jotting it all down when it comes up. I don't know if I'll ever get it here on fan fiction, but if it ever does, hopefully it won't be too bad.

Of course, as I said before, I love reading, especially manga. My favorites by far are: Skip Beat by Yoshiki Nakamura, Beauty Pop by Kiyoko Arai, Lovely Complex by Kiyoko Arai, and Koukou Debut (High School Debut) by Kazune Kawahara. I like other manga as well, but these four are my top four favorites. And wouldn't you know it? These are all Shojo as well. Oh, but I guess I might as well name my favorite Shonen ones. Um...Naruto (of course), Death Note, and Claymore. :nods:

As for books, I really like the Pendragon series. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend it to you. It's got a little bit of everything, and frankly, I was captured from the very first book. It's original and fast-paced. Before you know it, you'll have read the entire thing and be like, "Where did the time go?" I also like Daughter of the Forest, a beautifully written book that I first picked up a few years ago. And while we're on this note of popularity, I'm just waiting for Pendragon to be made into a movie. Whether I will completely love it like Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia or completely hate it like Eragon...well...we'll just have to wait for that, won't we?

My obsessions (at the moment at least XP ):

White X-Mas by KAT-TUN (a Japanese boy band filled with talented guys who can sing, dance, and act)

Death Note (one of the awesomest mangas, by the way)

Reading and finding interesting fan fics (mainly NarutoxHinata as of the moment)

Hm...now I guess I should talk about my fan fictions. Let's see...just so any of you who read or come across this, I don't ever have a set time for when I update. Also, I don't update every week or every month or anything like that. I do it when I feel like it and write when I'm inspired. After all, if I wasn't inspired, I'd end up giving you guys crappy stuff to read and review. No one wants anything like that.

I always thought my grammar was good, but apparently it needs some work. I don't know if all of you think this, or there's just a few of you out there, but if I mess something up, I'm sorry. There...an apology in advance.

:sighs: Again...wow...this is one long bio. I hope if you ever read this that you didn't get too bored. But anyways, I hope you enjoy reading my stories and aren't afraid to tell me if I made a mistake. Just state what you think, even if you think it'll hurt my feelings. I'm a writer. I should be able to take criticism. :nods:

Oh, and before I forget, let's make those little thank you's or dedication things that authors are always putting in their books. I'd like to thank all my reviewers, readers, alerters, and c2s. And my brain, of course. Without it, I wouldn't have any of these stories (or my life). And I'd also like to thank chocolate cream filled doughnuts and bagels with strawberry cream cheese.
