Hello from the beautiful state of Alaska! Just to get this out of the way right now here are a few facts about Alaska that some people don't seem to know:

1) THERE ARE NO PENGUINS! We have polar bears not penguins! Those are on the other end of the planet.

2)WE DO NOT LIVE IN IGLOOS! Some people seem to think we all live in igloos and ride our pet penguins to school. That just isn't true.

3)WE USE AMERICAN MONEY! I can't say how many times some stupid tourist or other lower 48er has asked "Do you use American money?" After about the tenth time you're half tempted to say "No. We only use Canadian or Alaskan." Recently someone told me about the time someone asked about the money exchange from U.S. to Alaskan. My choral director, who was the one witnessing this, promptly stated "five Amercican dollars for one Alaskan dollar." She then asked to see one of these Alaskan dollars. Her husband then showed her a one dollar bill which made everyone else laugh.

4)We love to make fun of all the lower 48 people who come up with all these strange ideas about Alaska. While in New York City for choir competition one of us told a couple of cheerleaders in the hotel that we live in igloos in the winter and puddles in the summer and ride polar bears to school since they ate all the penguins just to see how gullible they really were. Amazingly enough they believed every word of it and told all their friends. It still amazes me what people believe.

5)After so many years of really stupid people coming up and thinking they can pet the wildlife, namely the bears and moose, alot of locals want to shoot the tourists. On more than one occasion after hearing that an animal had to be put down due to a tourist wanting that special shot with the moose, I have heard my mother say "They should of shot the dumb human instead of the animal trying to get away."

I don't say this to be mean about everyone in the lower 48 since I am a Texas transplant. I only say this so I don't get some random message saying "Do you ride penguins?" or "Do you live in an igloo?" That just drives me insane when I get asked idiotic questions like that.

Pretty soon I'm gonna be posting a series of mine that goes through a very wide variety of fanfiction. I've had several people read what little of each story that has been written, and they've said it was pretty good. Here is the list in order of what the series will go through:

Bionicle -I know some of you are thinking 'Why this?' For one thing, when I first wrote the series it started with Bionicle because I wrote it when I was about eleven or so. I tried to re-write using somethingelse, but in order for later parts to work, using the characters are necessary.

Power Rangers - So here we go again with another younger kids show. Honestly when Power Rangers first came out it was alot better than the garbage being aired right now. This focuses on the better Power Rangers. Basically anything with Tommy Oliver or before SPD is good stuff. After that is trash.

Ironman - I originally wrote this one as Xmen, but after looking it over I noticed alot of the the characters were really OOC. I have finally decided it will be Ironman because it is much better than X-men. That and fewer character story lines I have to worry about.

Naruto - Taking place during the first couple of books/ first twenty episodes.

Star Wars - Episode one with future references

Avatar: the last airbender

After that I might do a few other stories if people want. I have few ideas but not that sure yet. If some of the choices looked good and others didn't and you really want to read them without reading all of the others don't sweat. At the beginning of each one will be a review so you know what's going on and why things are happening. It's better to read them all for some details that may not be put in the description because they don't always pertain to the main storyline.

In some of the stories the characters may seem slightly OOC, but considering alot of the stuff that's going to happen it's allowed to act a little strange. For the most part all characters stay true to themselves.

7/19/09 - Okay, so there has been one update. There won't be anymore for awhile since I am going away for ten days, come back, leave again, and then start back in school. So yeah...I managed to get back most of my documents, but unfortunately, the rest are gone. Sobs for me!

9/5/09 - I know updates have been slow, but wuth school four weeks in now and working on a play until about 11:00 every night, all my writing time has been eaten away. With Labor Day weekend coming up I hope to have a couple updates finished and sent off to my betas so that they can be posted by next weekend on the optimistic side.

10/6/09 - Okay, so I finally got an update on Bionicle and there might be one for Iron Man depending on what time I get home tomorrow. Patriot may also get one too.

10/29/09 - Here's a little announcement for those of you that look on profile and read my updates. I am going on a temporary hiatus until January. It's not fair of me to expect you guys to keep expecting an update when I can't get my stuff together. So, until the new year rolls around don't expect any updates. I hope to have at least been thinking about updates so I can hit the ground runnig when I come back, but there's no guarantees. For those of you who have been ther from the beginning reading and reviewing, you guys are awesome!! I'll try to get back sooner, but in the mean time, that's the plan for the forseeable future.
