Welcome to my little corner of FF.net. I tend to write for a lot of fandoms, and I tend to have a very bad habit of starting stories while I'm still working on others; so my updates are usually extremely slow, because I might be working on another story or my inspiration will die for awhile before coming back. It's happened before, and it'll probably happen again. Please just be patient with me and hold on, because sooner or later whatever story you like will be updated again. It just takes me awhile. That... and I'm just incredibly lazy. But I'm working on it. Really. I swear. I am prone to changing my avatar often and simply on whim, which makes me endlessly grateful that the stories I write here are recognized by my name and not by the image I'm using at the time. My hope is to study animal science and do well enough in school to get the grades and GPA I need to make it into veterinary school, though God knows why I want to pursue something in the math/science field when I suck at math and love to read and write. But I love animals and want to help them, so I figure that counts for something, right? At the end of senior year I finally got over the boy I've loved throughout my high school career, and it still hurts like hell to think about him or talk to him. He was one of my best friends for six years since middle school, and letting him go was the most painful thing I've ever done. I like to think the experience has made me a better person overall, but I could do without the pain I get in my chest every time I think of him. Recently I've realized that I will never completely understand my father, and he will never completely understand me. Which is all right, because I love him and want to make him as proud as I can anyway, because he always supports me no matter what. I'll never completely understand him, but I'll never stop loving him, and I'll never stop trying to make him proud. As of Friday, August 28th, I will officially be living on-campus, and classes start on Tuesday. While I have no intention of abandoning any of my stories, please bear with me because getting through college will be my main focus, and my updates will suffer because of it. I'll dedicate as much time to my stories as I can, but right now I'm more concerned with getting the grades I need to continue on into veterinary school. I'm not dead yet, but at the rate I'm going, I might be soon. Dammit. You know what really sucks about regret? In the end, it never changes anything. You can always say "If I had done this" or "What if I had said that?" but in the end, they're still dead and you're still left alive wondering why... God, why were you so indecisive and angry, right up to the very end. And no one can tell you that it's okay, you just have to accept it. You have to accept it, because they're gone and they're never coming back, and for the rest of your life you have to live with the fact that in the end, you hated them just as much as you loved them. You have to live with the fact that they were sorry, and the last time you talked to them, you didn't know how you fucking felt because you were so fucked up and angry and hurt. And in the end, what really, really sucks is that you loved them, loved them so much that just the thought of them brings you to tears, and you never told them that. You never told them any of that. You have to live with that, and accept it, because in real life death sticks. And deep down, you don't know if you ever will. Unless a friend of mine requests it, I will only write those particular pairings. If you read one of my stories but don't like the pairing, please don't flame me for that alone; I like what I like, and I write what I like. I am also a yuri fangirl. I willingly admit it. I also like yaoi, but I don't know if I'll ever actually get around to writing a yaoi fic. At the current moment my two main fandoms are Sailor Moon and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, specifically of the ViCia (Vivio Takamachi x Lutecia Alphine) and SetsMina (Meioh Setsuna x Aino Minako/Sailor Pluto x Sailor Venus) sort. These are, I must say, my OTPs for those two fandoms. As of late I've begun to dabble in some Strike Witches fanfiction, which sadly doesn't seem to be very popular. Regardless, I enjoy the series and I like the characters, so I figure I'll give it a shot. Anything I write for that series will be of the Mio/Yoshika and Gertrude/Minna variety, though I might attempt some Lynette/Perrine and Gertrude/Shirley (crack pairings FTW) if possible. I am quite fond of writing odd and unusual pairings, so long as I can find a way to make it work without making the characters too OOC. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX A Note about my Stories I am very much a fan of writing fics that tend to be AU from the series I'm writing about. Unless I have a definite idea for a continuation of the series from where it ended, I will very rarely write a chapter fic that is true to canon. One-shots I usually keep true to canon because of their length, but chapter fics I don't. My chapter fics tend to vary between slight AU, heavy AU, and complete AU. I usually make a note of it in my summaries if I have the space. I have no problem with canon itself and quite enjoy writing canon fiction, but I find that AU gives me more freedom with the characters and the story that I wouldn't have if I tried to stay true to the original series. This does not mean, however, that I am willing to change the characters themselves to write an AU fic. Part of the fun of writing AU stories is taking the characters and seeing how they'd interact in different situations, and that fun is lost when the characters are changed as well as the setting/place/plot, etc. As such, while my stories may tend to lean towards AU, I will try my best to keep the characters as true to themselves as possible. Really, it's my own fault since I tend to post the stories out of order. "Pain to Pain" will not be included on the list because while there is some ViCia in it, the plot for that story is focused more on Nanoha and Fate than on Vivio and Lutecia. "Shadowfire" also isn't on the list because the shorts I post for it occur throughout the timeline, so they have no real specific place. "Borderline" also isn't mentioned because, as stated in my author's note, it's slight AU from the rest of the series and therefore not considered canon.
