31/07/09 - Update!! OK, I am working on the below fic. Seriously, but it's taking a long time because I want to get it right. As it stands I've got one and a half chapters before I go back to edit and do massive changes to stuff I've realised is rubbish, after that there's another seven or so chapters to write till I get to just the halfway stage. I'll be sending them to my beta as soon as my first edits are done, and after I've got all that sorted, then I'll be posting. I know it's taking ages and I feel bad that I keep pushing the date back because a lot of people have asked about it but I'm telling you know I'm uber-excited about this and I can't wait to get it up, but because of that, I'm willing to wait and make people wait so I can get it really good. Obviously I'll still have the second half of the story to write too but I think once I'm posting that will spur me on to do it. But it's looking good so far. I'm on chapter 12, and each chapter is a good 3000 words long so this is going to be BIG.

Do Not Go Gentle: AU.The war is over. Voldemort is victorious. The wizarding world, now in turmoil is a very different place. With Hogwarts and the Ministry under Voldemort's rule, there is little hope left for any sort of life. Captives and killings a common occurance, and freedom is rare. But in this new dark and terrifying world, three outlawed wizards take it upon themselves to do the one thing everyone thought impossible. Rebel.

~About Me and Writing~

I, as both a reader and a writer find it increasingly infuriating that stories can get thousands of hits yet only a few reviews. What could take you five or ten minutes to read could have taken someone several hours to write and a lot of planning. Reviews encourage people and make them feel good about the writing.

24/01/09 - I'm 19 today - Yey! One more year as a teenager!! On another note, Do Not Go Gentle may be delayed even further. I've not worked on it much recently and it's going to need a lot of work. Anyone who feels they might be able to help can PM me - it's all much appreciated!!

30/12/08 - Hope everybody had a good Christmas and/or holidays! Anyway, with news regarding my new long fic, I've found out that it is going to take me a lot longer to get it up than I'd previously thought. It's started, no problems, and I have a few of the chapters written, but looking at them I can see they're going to need a lot of work and I want to do this thing properly so although it might be a bit longer before it's up, it will be a lot better quality! In the meantime, it does now have a title and a summary which I'll post here. Hope everyone has a good New Year! Here's to lots of happy writing and reading in 2009!!

11/12/08 - My project is finally under way! 'A New Kind of Terror' has been posted and I've begun my summary write-through of my longer project (which is currently nameless). I'm going to try to finish my plan through the Christmas holidays and then hopefully I should start posting in the new year. Thanks to everyone who reviewed 'ANKOT', they were much appreciated, and I'm really looking forwards to starting this even if I probably will be cursing myself once it gets going... :D

06/11/08 - OK, so I've now got a plan in my head. I want to finish all my current planned challenges and oneshots, as well as my unfinished longer pieces (aside from TA and Moments), and then I'm going to start the massive undertaking of writing the HUGE fic I've got planned for the near future. It'll take me a good while to finish everything that I've got at the moment so it won't be up for ages, but I'll say a little about what it's going to be about: Set in a post DH world where instead of claiming victory, the wizarding wold lost to Voldemort, who now uses his new power to run Hogwarts and the Ministry of Magic in a very different way to what people are used to... In this new dark and terrifying world, three outlawed wizards take it upon themselves to do the one thing everyone thought was impossible. Rebel. Oooh. Exciting. Oh, and the main three characters are canon, and you can probably work out who they're going to be if you know who I like to write about. I'm going to get on with writing my other stuff and then I can begin!!

05/10/08 - Now I'm at uni and understanding how mad it can all be, I've realised that my updates are going to slow down. A lot. I've not started the course yet but from the looks of things I'm not going to have loads of time for FF writing in between my course and socialising. I'm going to try to keep it up though, and I'll definitely try and put my RL Halloween oneshot but after that, I'll have to see how it goes :)
