Author has written 22 stories for Power Rangers, Office, Supernatural, Psych, and Galaxy Quest. I am the sort of writer who gets one idea, runs with it, get another, starts writing it along with the other, and gets another... You see the dilemma. I have way too many ideas running around at once, and only a fraction of those have actually made it into solid written form so far. That being said, I have six active/semi-active fics going on right now, not to mention the myriad half-written files of plot bunnies cluttering my laptop and flash drive. I guess what I'm getting at is an advance apology for how often I may or may not update. At least I've got the good grace to be sheepish about it, right? ...Right? Name: Kelsey Age: 20 Gender: Female Favorite TV Shows: Supernatural, Psych, The Office (U.S.), Doctor Who, Power Rangers, Firefly, Mythbusters, Charmed, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Futurama, House, Glee. Favorite Movies: Indiana Jones, Spiderman, Star Wars, Dodgeball, Back to the Future, School of Rock, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Harry Potter movies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Galaxy Quest, Fight Club, Iron Man, Serenity, Anchorman, Tropic Thunder, Fired Up!, Boondock Saints, Star Trek (2009). Favorite Couples: Bridge/Z, Jason/Trini, Tommy/Kim, Nick/Madison, Chip/Vida, Jim/Pam, Dwight/Angela, Leela/Fry, Ten/Rose, Nine/Rose, Inara/Mal, Kaylee/Simon, Wash/Zoe, Shawn/Juliet and Shawn/Lassiter (either would make me happy in canon, but I prefer reading fics about the latter), Doctor K/Ziggy. Favorite Bands: Motion City Soundtrack, Glenn Miller, AC/DC, Bowling For Soup, Johnny Cash, Yellowcard, blink182, Good Charlotte, Green Day, Sum 41, Flogging Molly, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Panic at the Disco, Boston, Kansas, Led Zeppelin. Favorite Books: Harry Potter, Rant, Lord of the Rings, Slaughterhouse-Five (and anything by Kurt Vonnegut, really), Brave New World, Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Physics of the Impossible, Fahrenheit 451, The Sex Lives of Cannibals. A Note For Supernatural Fans: Some of my Supernatural fics exist in my own personal canon, which I do my best to fit in between the cracks of real canon. Others are random bits of plot bunnies or crack that I had to get out of my head, and are therefore outside of my canon. Maybe fanon's a better word here, or 'verse... Whatever. Anyway, the fics that fit in the same timeline together: Watching Over You (even though it was sort of invalidated by 'The Song Remains the Same'), Point of Know Return, God Rest Bon Scott, To Be a Winchester and Last Prayer. Sons of the Father, No Canons Required and Pieorities are outside of my canon, and Pratityasamutpada can go either way, depending on your preference. Also, I apologize for anyone who isn't a fan of Dean/Cas. Maybe it's just my own skewed perceptions, but I always see shades of pre-Destiel in my fics that focus on the pair. And I somehow manage to write my most Destiel-lite fic when I'm actually trying to shade it with the romance. Go figure. If you don't see it, then it's probably just me, reading too much into things as I go crazy writing late at night. Carry on. And I swear I'm working on To Be a Winchester. I've finally finished the fishing chapter, so that just leaves my potential favorite: first aid. I did eventually cut down my chapter outlines to a final eleven, though I'm still leaving room open for a potential twelfth chapter with small snippets of other lessons that I couldn't make long enough to be separate chapters of their own. And all of that's not even considering the fact that I've officially started writing for yet another fandom, so things are only getting crazier in my noggin. And I've outlined six chapters for my sequel to Pieorities, which happily carries along the crack-ish torch its predecessor lit. So yes, there is still slash, and not just Dean/Cas slash, because my inner fangirl ran with the idea. Seriously, the notion of Bobby kissing Crowley with some tongue was too interesting not to expand upon. You know Crowley couldn't just leave it at that comment, anyway, not if he's the character I'd like to think he is. And just because I'm a bit of a fangirl and it's already borderline crack, there will of course be a bit of Shassie. Which means that, in the story, there is the possibility for angel/demon/God-on-human romance. Yeah, this particular fandom can get bizarre. Hell, Pieorities wasn't even supposed to be as long or as serious as it was, and now it has a multi-chap sequel... God help me. I'm at least trying to get it partially finished before I post it. I have all of chapter one done and part of chapter two, not to mention important scenes from other chapters already written. A General Note: I also swear to whatever deity is currently listening that I'm still working on Children of Light and The Doctor's Office. Those muses have just taken extended sabbaticals, though I can occasionally get a hold of them long enough to get a little more done. Those fics will be finished, even if it takes my entire life, dammit. And that new fandom? Psych. I'm totally addicted. Shassie is my current weakness. I have an alarming number of Shassie plot bunnies stomping around, all with varying degrees of thought and writing put into them, as well as a burgeoning sort of personal 'verse. God help me, I will finish everything somehow. Sanity be damned, I will finish everything. | |||||||
