Hi, the name is Brittany. 19 years old, just finished my sophomore year in college at UNC (Go Tarheels!). I'm an avid reader of fanfiction of many different types, but I've only ever written Harry Potter fanfiction.

I have one story posted on this site (HP) and I don't know if I'll ever finish it, the mood just hasn't struck. But if you want to read more of what I've written in the past then go to www.fanfictionworld.net/hparchive , my penname there is hermioneatheart.

The fanfiction that I prefer to read is widely varied, but my favorite of all time is Dark Angel.

I love love love all things Dark Angel. I was probably like 10 when it first aired, but still I made my older brother record it every week for me so I could watch it over and over again on VHS, now that I'm older (thank God for the invention of DVDs) I purchased the entire series on DVD so I can watch all over again. (The tapes tended to wear out after awhile)

I used to be a Max/Logan shipper, but after watching the entire series again as an adult I realize that Max and Logan really have nothing in common and he only tries to change who she is and use her for his whole 'save the world' crap. Typical man. Ugh. So now I've entered the wonderful world of Max/Alec fanfiction. sigh Jensen Ackles sigh I think he and Max are much better suited for each other and even though canon is undeniably ML, I believe that given time the MA relationship would've evolved into a real one and Logan would be left in the dust. Where he needs to be. And there's my rant about that.

I guess now I'll state my Harry Potter preferences. Which are Harry/Ginny (oh come on. that was undeniable, what were you Harry/Hermione people thinking??), along with the occasional Ron/Hermione and Lilly/James fics. My guilty pleasure also happens to be Draco/Ginny, although I recognize that this is not canon at all and could only happen in a world where Harry is dead. And what kind of world would that be?

I one day hope to return to writing fanfiction or even publish a novel, but I find that at the moment I don't have the time, attention span, or patience for it.

Someday I would like to write some Dark Angel fanfiction, but I haven't had any really concrete ideas so far, perhaps gazing at a poster of Jensen Ackles will spark some ideas. In the meantime I'm always looking for non-angsty MA fics to feast upon.
