The Tale of Light: (Hikaru no Go):
When he was five, Sai became a disciple of Tsuji no Yoshinari, an ex-Go instructor in the Imperial Court. He had no idea that one day he would leave his hometown with his master and become one of the greatest Go player in Heian-kyo.
When he was five, Hikaru, the son of a lower rank Bushi, caught a glimpse of a beautiful girl with long dark hair and pale complexion behind the tall walls of the grand Tsuchimikado mansion. He doubted he would ever be able to meet her again, even with the help of his new friend, Sai.
When he was five, Akira had no idea where he lived or who he was. His caretaker and main instructor, Lady Murasaki, had forbidden him to leave the Tsuchimikado mansion. With no one to talk to except for the maids, he amused himself with the game of Go, which according to Lady Murasaki his father was quite good at. Everything changed when he met Sai, his Go instructor.
I'm still working on this and unlike my other fics, I'm not planning to post this until I've done most of it.
