Author has written 5 stories for Inuyasha.

June 15, 2009 -

Black Ice: For those of you who haven't been in the loop with us lately, we have decided to do a writing contest based on the unanimous vote on our poll. These are the terms.

Either me or Rain will choose one of our unfinished stories. Within the course of one month, we want all those interested to write the next chapter of the story. During this time period, we will not be offering our beta services. Don't ask why; we don't wanna hear any complaints.

The chapter has to be at least five pages long, in 12-point font (preferably Andalus font), with specifications as follows:

0.20” spacing below paragraph;

portrait orientation;

8.50 page width;

11.00 page length;

0.79 on all margins.

The contest officially begins Monday June 15, 2009, at 12:00 noon.

There will be NO FAVORITISM. This of course means that your chapter shall be picked based on originality, grammar, punctuation, knowledge of the topic, etc.

Send ALL submissions in .doc file format to my email address, ikichira @ yahoo . com (take out them spaces, y'all). The subject line should be Chapter Submission and the email body should contain a short summary of what you've written.

Keep checking our website for updates about the contest information. Remember, everyone is eligible and all content is accepted as long as it conforms to the standards of the story.

I think that's about it for right now... Good luck, peoples! Come noon, come to our website to see what the first story assignment shall be!

June 5, 2009 - Ahem. Hello, everyone. There has been a reason for my...scurrilous lack of updates lately, and here it is. I have been preoccupied with a few online games as of late, as well as just one story in particular: No Secrets in Strangetown. You would think I would be updating that, but actually, I have converted it into an original story. Tacky? Yes, sure. But I feel that this is a potentially great story, and it doesn't really get that much attention here, so I'm really concentrating on it being original now. I've written quite a bit on it, and it's about four hundred or so pages from being done...

On the subject of original stories, I will be retiring from the fanfiction world. I don't know exactly when, but I realize that I personally cannot write both fanfiction and original stories at the same time for this annoying reason: I tend to put in the fanfiction names where there should be original names, a problem rampant in No Secrets in Strangetown, but I am breaking that habit, and I'm happy about it. I have also changed the name from No Secrets in Strangetown to Unleashed: Flames of Fate, but that's subject to change at any time due to potential tackiness.

I apologize to those of you who have expected updates. There will be a poll up soon that you all can take to determine the fate of the unfinished stories I've got here...

(sigh) It's been a great run, really, and I'd hoped to become as big as Kei-chanz or Inugrrrl, but it seems it wasn't meant to be. Ah, well; c'est la vie!

P.S. Don't think the above statement is the reason I'm leaving. I'm leaving because I feel it's a necessary life adjustment.

April 19, 2009 - DUDE! (hyperventilates) Okay, so it's like half an hour into Sunday. It's midnight. I'm watching TV, and I see how you can win a bunch of cool stuff just by SEARCHING FOR STUFF IN A SEARCH ENGINE!! Sounds scammy, right? Well, I checked it out and it's totally legit! Just sign up here: http://searchwingine.swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register&rb=470230

Best part is, if you refer people, whatever "swag bucks" they get, you get as well. ;D

For those of you who are still on the page, let me explain further. You install the WGN America Swag Bucks search engine onto your computers. They don't put any spyware on your computer or anything. You just look things up just like you would do on Google or Yahoo! or whatever, but with THIS search engine, you have the opportunity to obtain "swag bucks". They're electronic currency used to purchase things from the WGN Swag Store, and guys, they have some awesome stuff there! It's kinda like on a browser-based game, you know? But it's for REAL!

I LOVE CHOWDER! (The cartoon, not the food. I've never tasted the food before.)

I LOVE FLAPJACK!! (As well as the food! )

As you can see, I felt a little cleanup was in order. So this is my profile now. Looks pretty bare-assed, huh?

LET'S GET SOMETHING STRAIGHT HERE!

1. My cardinal rule of fanfiction, and all other literature: If you don't like it, don't read it.

2. I'm not fond of flames. Nor do I like flamers. Anyone who is stupid enough to flame one of my stories--and I did say "flame;" constructive criticism is always welcome--will get a very loud, very obscene, and very black, old-fashioned "verbal ass-whoopin'." And that's word.

3. I can be tolerant of other pairings, such as SessKag and InuKik, but I just don't prefer them. (read: (shudder)) Thus, if someone reads my story and says that it's okay, but they'd rather read a SessKag or InuKik, then all I can say is, that other story's lurking just around the corner.

4. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I don't like it when someone tries to push their opinions on other people. I had a so-called flamer by the name of "Gale", who you can guess was anonymous, who was all like, "Making Kagome is sick, you're a sick person, she's only sixteen," and so on and so forth. Look here, people, if you don't approve of teen pregnancy, then damn it, sign a petition or something, but don't come in my face with that noise. Teen pregnancy is just the same as suicide or anorexia--I don't like it, and you don't like it, but it happens. It happens, so either get with the program or get with the door.

5. As of today, Friday March 28, 2008, I hereby announce that in none of my stories, unless specified, will cat demons/half-demons and dog demons/half-demons hate each other! They will copulate and make...I dunno yet. I'm still working on that.

6. All my stories will be predominantly "Americanized," due to me not being a Japanese person, and for that, I offer my deepest apologies. (Can you hear the sarcasm?) It'll be set in Japan, and everybody will have Japanese names, and use Japanese honorifics, eat Japanese food, etc. However...the way they talk, dress, and act will be characteristic of people I know and am thus used to being around. So, until I can perfect this...

Get the fuck outta my face about it, damn it!

7 and 8. I deleted these. I seem to be doing this a lot.

9. Amy Winehouse is my absolute favorite singer of all time, and I really hate how people judge her so badly. Look, people, it's obvious that the woman has a few or more psychological and mental problems, because really, that's always why people do drugs and drink and such. So don't put her down, okay? I mean, she's a wonderful singer, better and more soulful than a lot of the Americans, and I know that deep down, at heart and everything, she's also a very wonderful person. If you feel that people--namely the tabloids--should lay off the woman and get some damn help for her, or if you're also a big fan of her, please copy this onto your profile. And by fan, I ain't talking about the people who know "Rehab" and "You Know I'm No Good" word-for-word; I mean those die-hard people who know "Help Yourself" and "Take The Box", those people who know Amy's middle name, and even the people who know what her first album Frank was named for. Jeez. And how about pray for the woman as well, yeah? She needs it, you know.

10. There is absolutely nothing wrong with liking cartoons and kid shows. I don't care how old you are, how smart you are, whatever. I say this because I myself will admit to watching (and avidly so): Cartoon Planet, Chowder (I LOVE CHOWDER!!), The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Spongebob Squarepants (not as often, though), Between the Lions, Dragon Tales (haven't seen it in a while, though), and Oobi. Yes, goddamn it, I said Oobi! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, BITCH! That is all.

11. You know who my favorite comedians and comediennes are? The "controversial" ones. The ones who aren't afraid to say anything they wanna say! And those people are:

Lisa Lampanelli (the first funny white woman I've ever heard say "nigga" in a nonracist way)

Sarah Silverman (just the name of that show she did, Jesus is Magic, was enough to put me in stitches)

Dave Chappelle (he is just friggin' great)

Uh...who else? I can't remember right now, but I'll get back to ya.

12. Eh...I deleted number twelve.

13. You know what I can't stand? Reviewers who say "oh, this wasn't what I expected and I'm disappointed". Dude...like I care, okay? Seriously! If you're "disappointed", just stop reading. I really don't care! And I'm just gonna come right out and say this: I'm talking about some people who've been reviewing The Boy Next Door. I really, honestly do not care about any disappointment you might experience while reading. In fact, refer back to rule number one for further explanation.

14. This is sort of a part two to rule thirteen. If you don't have anything constructive to say about my stories, don't say anything, dude. I hate that. Tell me anything about it--tell me what you like about it, what needs work, what you don't understand--but don't just say "I love it! Update soon!" because that doesn't tell me anything. Also, don't say "I thought this was blah-blah-blah", because nevermind what you thought it was--I'm Rick James, bitch. Well, not really.

More to come soon.

For anyone who may have been wondering, this is how you nominate people on the IYFanguild.

1. Become a member. You do this by going here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/iyfanguild/.

2. Log in to the fanguild on Yahoo! Groups and go to Post, the subtitle beneath Messages on the left hand list.

The subject line should be "Nominations" or whatever else having to do with nomination, and the body should read as such:

(Here is where you need to say you're over eighteen if the story is M (FF.net), X or Y (MM.org) because you have to be over eighteen to nominate or second an M-rated story. You can be creative, but no swear language, obviously.)

This is the format (which should be included):

Category: (whichever category you want to nominate for)

Title: (title of story you want to nominate)

Author: (name of the author whose story's being nominated)

Rating:

URL: (copy and paste the URL of the story)

Nominated by: (your name)

Simple, hmm?

Hey, hey, people, Merry New Year and a Happy Christmas to you all! Feline Navigation and all that! So anyways, check out this new site, called The Readers Have Chosen, at this URL: www.thereadershavechosen.eternflame.com. It's a site on which people recommend good fanfiction and that fanfiction is posted on the site. Go, see, you may like!
