Pairings (why and why not some of them work):

Meg & Erik: Obviously Meg and Erik are my favorite pairing since all of my stories are this pairing. I believe Meg and Erik work because if you look closely at Meg she is always so curious of the Phantom and Christine pushes her back in the shadows with the Phantom. She is also engrossed by his SEXY arrival at the Masquerade Ball. If you look more closely she just totally scanned him from top to bottom and she starts get all jittery. And of course we have the infamous Behind the Mirror scene when she finds the two-way mirror. Think of what would have happened if she had not been stopped. Of course we can not forget when she goes searching for him at the end of the movie. She runs up the stairs about to say something, but doesn't when she realizes he is gone. After she picks up the mask she goes off somewhere. Where could that be? Besides Meg seems more stronger, independent, and less naive than Christine. Christine seems so...fragile.

Christine & Erik: Ah yes, the forbidden pairing. They seem so sweet so meant to be, but obsession, another love, lies, and one man's face tears them apart. I used to be a strong supporter that somehow they would end up with one another, but if you watch at the end of the movie when the Vicomte De Chagny visits Christine's grave. It says CHRISTINE DE CHAGNY. If they had ended up with one another it would have ruined the beauty of the movie. The beauty of how one man gave up his entire world for the woman he loved so much. If you are a die hard Christine/Erik fan that is fine, I am just laying out some of the facts and if you think I am totally crazy for loving Erik/Meg pairing that is fine too.

I'll add more later!
