Author has written 1 story for Torchwood.

General: My name is Sinead. I’m a eighteen year old girl from Australia who really doesn’t get out all that much. Sounds pretty appealing, right?
Well then, here’s some words about me...

I find observation intriguing, but often fear interaction. I’m one of those people who sits on trains or in theatre lobbies and watches people. I eavesdrop and imagine, and I make up fanciful back stories. This is a way for me to amuse myself at the same time as avoiding conversation.
I’m terrified of calling people on the telephone, even to some degree those I already know. I like to wear strange clothes and bright colours, but at the same time I’m scared of being judged. It’s possible that I may have minor social anxiety disorder, but I’ve never been tested or diagnosed.

I tend to obsess over things, like a sort of addictive tendency. Television shows and comedy acts are the most prominent of these obsessions, and I find myself quoting, contemplating, watching, writing and talking about my latest fascinations non-stop. Some of these obsessions result in fan fiction, which is one of the reasons I’m here.

I have never been outside of my home country, and haven’t even seen much of that. But one day I hope to travel extensively, hopefully to England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland, Canada and America, among other places. It’s a dream most likely never to come true, but one I will surely work towards fulfilling at least parts of.

I adore art of all kinds; drawing, painting, comedy, writing, photography, acting, dancing, singing, music... It all inspires me endlessly, and I embrace creativity in all these forms. Writing is a passion that has been with me even since I can remember. Coupled with drawing, I hope to one day write novels and write and illustrate children’s books. I’m even working on a children’s book idea right now, so maybe it’s a dream not impossible to reach. After all, everyone has to have at least one goal they can achieve, right?

Okay, enough rambling on. In case anyone is interested, I’ll now list my favourite things, conveniently divided into sections for easy reading access.

Movies: Dead Poets Society, School Of Rock, The Princess Bride, Love Actually, Sin City, Spirited Away, The Producers, Persopolis.

TV Shows: The Mighty Boosh, Scrubs, Torchwood, Black Books, House MD, The Goodies, The Chaser’s War On Everything, CNNNN, The Adventures Of Lano & Woodley, The Young Ones.

Musicians: Eskimo Joe, Bright Eyes, The Fantastic Leslie, Ben Lee, They Might Be Giants, Crowded House, The Living End, The White Stripes, Radiohead, Bob Evans, The Whitlams, The Beatles, Josh Pyke, Mika, The Skyhooks, Blur, Kind Of Pluto.

Books: Alice In Wonderland; Winkie; Sea Otters Gambolling In The Wild, Wild Surf; The Eleventh Hour; Fox In Socks; The Lorax; Hamlet; Lord Of The Rings; Charlie And The Chocolate Factory; Housemeeting.

Fandoms/Ships: I am a lover of slash, and the majority, if not all of what I read and write, is slash fiction. I do like some het pairings, but generally I will tend to read these rather than write them.
I ship the following...

Torchwood: Jack/Ianto, Jack/John, Jack/The Doctor, Tosh/Owen, Gwen/Rhys
Scrubs: JD/Cox, Turk/Carla
The Mighty Boosh: Vince/Howard, Vince/OMC
House M.D.: House/Chase, House/Wilson, Wilson/Chase, House/Cuddy
Friends: Joey/Chandler, Ross/Rachel

Plus many others in different fandoms!

There are also some ships I detest. The most major of these are...

Torchwood: Jack/Gwen (I refuse to accept that either of them have proper feelings for each other, as I believe Gwen belongs with Rhys, and Jack should be smexing up men. Especially Ianto. Plus, it's icky and wrong. No offence to any Jack/Gwen fans.)
House M.D.: Chase/Cameron, House/Cameron, Wilson/Cameron... (sensing a pattern here? Yeah, okay, so I don't like Cameron very much XD)

I also write some RPS fics that are housed on LiveJournal, and original fiction which can soon be found on FictionPress. I will link to these later, when everything’s up and running properly.

That's about it for now.
