Author has written 26 stories for Keys to the Kingdom, Fruits Basket, Xiaolin Showdown, Warriors, Kingdom Hearts, Naruto, Bleach, Haruhi Suzumiya series, StarTrek: The Next Generation, and Pokemon. It's kind of hard to believe how long I've had this account! I made it when I was a freshman in high school and now I'm a freshman in college. The name is Elycien, otherwise known as Elcie or - as this profile states - Elycat. I would change it, honestly, to match the fact that I'm Elycien everywhere else - but I'm too attached to Elycat to do that. As this account is four years old, be warned that the oldest entries contain a lot of questionable writing skills, wangst, and the odd Mary-Sue. _ Well, it's been a while since I updated this, so I think I should give a rundown of my fandoms and fics to make it clear what I'm likely to update. I have fandom ADD, so there are a lot of places I probably won't return to. xD Let's start with the oldest, shall we? Fruits Basket: closed. I will not be returning to this fandom as a writer, nor will I ever update "Phoenix Fallen." It is still there for your viewing pleasure and Mary-Sue lulz, as well as for my own sentimentality. Aww, my first ever Mary-Sue, guys. Keys to the Kingdom: Semi-closed. To be honest, I'd kind of like to come back and write for this fandom again sometime, but I can't see it happening anytime soon. None of the fics currently on this list will ever be updated. Xiaolin Showdown: closed. I won't be returning to this fandom, either. "A Spot of Chaos" will not be updated, either. Warriors: Actually, I was never in this fandom to begin with - I just wrote a Chrestomanci crossover and stuck it there. I still think the idea of a crossover is kind of cute, but I won't continue it. I may write more Chrestomanci things in the distant future. Kingdom Hearts: Semi-closed, and a fandom still very dear to my heart. This is also the phase of my life when I wrote inexplicable death scenes where various Organization members died tragically and painfully. Well, honestly, none of them die in the fics I still have up, but they still get maimed or something in two of them, so it counts, all right? ...Oh hey, it seems I tormented Riku too? Somehow this doesn't surprise me. (I glanced at that fic and was mildly surprised to find that he still had both arms in it. I am very, very confused and slightly disturbed about why I thought I'd had him lose one...) Additionally, some of you may remember "And Shattered They Fell," in which I took up the rather ambitious task of killing off every single Organization member in the same fic. Yes, it's gone. It was kind of embarrassing (yes, moreso than Tharaide Mary-Sue) and, honestly, I got bored. There are only so many ways of killing people and doing it thirteen times? Yawn. In any case, none of these fanfics will ever be updated, but if I ever get struck with a KH plot bunny, I won't hesitate to write it. Naruto: closed. I only ever wrote crack for it in the first place. xD In any case, I no longer keep up with the manga, so no, I won't be writing in the fandom anymore. Bleach: Semi-closed. Most of these are oneshots anyway so I shouldn't need to say this, but the majority of these fics won't be updated. The exceptions are "Spirit" and "Destati" if I ever get inspired again. Still much love to Hana/Hina and zanpakuto spirits! I do still lurk this fandom, so I suppose I may yet post more fics for it. Haruhi Suzumiya: I still dabble in this fandom, with a couple of plot bunnies waiting in the wings. I have no idea if I will write any of them, though. "The Legacy of Haruhi Suzumiya" is on hiatus but not abandoned yet - the main problem is I still have no idea how it ends! Star Trek: I will admit I never felt quite comfortable writing in this fandom. I feel so ignorant! XD In any case, "Legacy", as I said above, is on hiatus - though it's primarily a Haruhi fic, due to the obvious blaring inaccuracies with Trek canon. Oh well, it's just for fun, anyway. "Ad Astra Per Aspera" is a oneshot and probably won't get a sequel, although you never know. At the moment, I have no plot bunnies for this fandom and I don't see myself getting any, but I wouldn't say I'm through with the fandom by any means. Pokemon: Current fandom, hopefully there will be more uploads soon: probably mostly Johto (more Will/Karen, some Crystalshipping) and Sinnoh (Snazzyshipping and Conjunctionshipping). I actually have two multi-chapter fics in the works for this, but given my rate of fanfic work, they may or may not ever be posted. XD | |||||||||||
