Author has written 1 story for 10th Kingdom. Hello in writer land. I'm into non-conformity and going against the grain; many of my stories reflect this. I'm a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fanatic. I loved the old cartoon and adore the new one even more. As any good Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan should I own all the movies and have them practically memorized (but the first one is the only one worth your time if you aren't a huge fan such as myself). As such I love comic books. I’m a geek, what can I say. I like the Gummi Bears too. Harry Potter is one of my favs as well. To be fair, I adore lots of things…I won’t even begin to narrow it down, because that would be like trying to count all the grains of sand on the beach. I will say, however, the beach is my number one…top dog…if I had to choose one thing I love the most...it’s the beach. If I could I’d live my life Jimmy Buffet style in a beach house or a boat on the Atlantic having my hushpuppies on wasting away in Margaritaville with a fruity umbrella drink in hand - like any good Parrothead. Okay, so when I’m not at work or writing I usually am baking in the funshine, waterskiing, or boogie boarding my life away at the ocean side – but it’s not everyday as my desire to do so is. Every time I’ve been sorted (for you Harry Potter fans) I’ve been placed in Ravenclaw…if that says anything about my character. Please don’t let my 20 oddyears get to you…I think, like, my Jimmy Buffet life style I’m still a kid at heart…and that’s why I have to get up and watch Saturday toons every weekend. To add to this bizarre scene of my description, I am a Renaissance art fiend - Italian Renaissance art that is - Flemish painters are okay but my passion lies in the religious work of Florentine Renaissance painters and sculptors. I eat the stuff up! I am a Humanities student with a focus in the High Middle Ages to the late Renaissance periods. If you don’t know what Humanities is (believe it or not, second to what did you study? is: what’s Humanities) here's a Reader’s Digest version. Humanities is a combinations of four things: the umbrella being Philosophy, art (my passion, my driving love of being scholarly falls in this category – realize Humanities art is not art history…it’s not the dates and painters only…its what the painting is and why it is what it is), literature (as an amateur writer I certainly appreciate literature, but if you’ve read some of the stuff from my focused time periods you’d probably choke…most of it sucks), and music (I have no comment here, it’s pretty self explanatory). There, my scholarly aspect in a nut shell. I am an aspiring Graduate student. I was accepted this year but finances and life prevented me from being able to pursue that dream. I’ll analyze my situation next year and apply again. Shoot, I got in once right?(/end dorky student mode) If there’s anything else you wish to know about me, please feel free to e-mail me; I love the e-mails. Author’s personal note: I have decided to retire many of my stories on this site, as it is unlikely that I will ever revisit them. I apologize to anyone who was actually reading them or liked them…but I have decided that if I am not going to update them nor correct/edit them they have no place polluting up fanfiction.net. I want to make it clear that I am not going to stop writing…I am just taking a few of them down. 9-16-2005 I have really cut the fat off from my stories list, I eliminated many of my stories. My intention is not to disappoint but I just don't want to leave up old stuff that will never get edited or updated. I'm sorry. 9.16.06 Thank you for visiting my bio page, and now I’ll leave you with a few of my favorite quotes… Mark Hunter "Pump Up the Volume" ~ "Talk Hard." Silent Bob "Clerks" ~ "Ya know there's a million fine looking women in the world, dude but they don't all don't bring you lasagna at work...most of them just cheat on ya." Brodi "Mall Rats" ~ “...yeah about a million things, but I can’t express myself monosyllabically for you to understand them all.” My personal fav... Cheers, | |||||||||
