Umm.., most folks seem to fill these things in, even if they are non-writers. So here's some random nonsense about me.
DOB - I was born sometime in the groovy 70's. Don't ask when, it's not polite to ask a lady her age.
Nationality - I'm a Brit & proud of it.
Career - I'm a Biomedical Scientist by profession.
Interests/Hobbies - I am a HUGE anime/manga fan. Have been for a very long time, much to the chagrin of my husband as our house is overflowing with the stuff. My favourite series include Evangelion, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Mai-HiME/Otome, Rahxephon, Haibane Renmei, R.O.D., Iczer-1, Escaflowne, Gunbuster, Macross Plus, Hellsing, & anything by Studio Ghibli or Shirow, to name but a few.
As my name suggests, I lurk on a lot of sites online. I was lurking on this site for months & months, only actually creating an account when I realised I could be e-mailed 'chapter alerts' to the various stories that I've been following (doh!). I don't write fanfiction myself, I simply do not have the time, imagination or the talent to do so. I purely enjoy the pleasure of reading.
I read a lot of stories, but I originally came here for the Shoujo Kakumei Utena & Hellsing fanfics, the former because the ending to the TV series is so open to interpretation, the latter because I thought the anime TV series was poor when compared to the manga (the OAV rocks though).
As for favourite pairings, I'm game for anything usually (not so keen on yaoi though), but if it's a SKU story I prefer Utena x Anthy, & if it's a Mai-HiME/Otome story, then it has to be Shizuru x Natsuki. No other pairings will do it for me, ShizNat RULES!!
