Author has written 13 stories for Firefly, Stargate: SG-1, and Buffy X-overs. October 12th, 2007 As you all may have noticed, I have not been updating much of late, and I apologize. And I am announcing that until further notice, I am on hiatus. My life has just been too busy lately and I find myself lacking insperation due to the suckfest that was season 9 and 10 of Stargate (No offence to anyone, but I just don't "feel" it anymore. It's like the writers have run out of ideas and good characters.) As of now, my hitaus begins and unfortunatly, I can't say how long it will last. Just give me time, and I'll go my best to eventually begin writing like the Gothfeary you all know and love. ~Gothfeary, a.k.a ~Kat BETA reader: DustBunnyQueen Sanity is gone... Name: Katherine I'm a Firefly and Stargate fanatic. I also love Radio Free Rosco, Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Full Metal Alchimist and Fruits Basket. I've also read everyone of Tamora Pierces' books. My fav parings are River/Jayne, River/Mal, Sam/Jack, Daniel/Jack, Roy Mustang/Edward Elric, Buffy/Spike (If you try to tell me Buffy and Angel are OTP, I'll just cover my ears and hum loudly until you go away!), Buffy/Xander(second choice ship), Tris/Briar(Forvever!) and any thing with Rodney McKay (as long as it's not slash, he's too hot for that!) That's about all, really. I also recently got into The Lone Gunmen, trust me when I say that it too, like Firefly, went well before it's time! (I also refuse to believe the last episode!) Authors Note: All of my Stargate stories except "The Least Likley Suspect", (that one is just so AU it's not even funny!) take place in my little alternate universe where Janet did die but reached Ascension, where she then chose to re-take human form. Jacob/Selmak did not die because the wonderful Dr. Fraiser was there to save him. (However, he did still tell Sam to "be happy", so she did leave Pete! Yay!) Carson is not dead and all that BS with the Asgard mass suicide is a lie. You're trying to tell me that an advanced civilisation with access to two compleat copies of the Acient data base, the glory that is Atlantis and allies with the ability to travel through time and you cannot think up a plan to save yourselves? How about you go back in time a thousand years and get a fresh DNA sample to use for cloning in the event you can't think of a way to begin reproducing normally again. Stupid writers... And the pairings are as follows: John Sheppard/Telya, Jack/Sam, Janet/Daniel, with hints of Rodney/Elizabeth here and there. A/N 2: All my stories are subject to random editing and updating, so pay attention. In regards to Archiving: I love the fact that people apparently think I actually know how to write, and actually like what I post here. Now, I don't mind if you want to archive my works, just let me know who you are and where you want to archive me. I recently found someone had taken "Things Not To Do At The SGC" and posted it as their own work on anothe site, rather than ask me if the could post it on my behalf. They have since been notified, and kicked off that perticular site. And no, I won't tell you who or where. Pet Peeves: Bad accents, wasabi on my sushi, out of character dialog/actions/reactions in fics, movies, or TV, and long lines at the coffee shop. Oh, and PEOPLE WHO DON'T FINISH THEIR FICS! (Honestly, if you're going to write a story then finish it! Don't leave your readers hanging, or unfullfilled. If you want to quit writing, then delete you stories, damn you! Then I won't get hooked on them!) and finally... PEOPLE WHO FEEL THE NEED TO INCLUDE EVERY CHARCTER AND THEIR MOTHER INTO BUFFY CROSS OVERS!! You want to write a Sky High crossover? Fine, just don't include every comic super hero you can think of. Or Hogwarts? Do all the Scoobies really need to go? Even ANDREW!? Show some restraint people. Hobbies: Reading Fan Fiction(duh!), writing, painting, and SLEEPING! (I am VERY lazy!) This author is currently seeking recomendations for good readin material. I love Harry Potter non slash time travel and Independant!Harry stories. Stargate/Buffy cross overs and Laberynth stories with nummy Jareth are also highly sought after. Much love, Gothfeary | |||||||||||
