I can be pretty hardcore, if I try really hard, which I never do. The name's Gwen, Gwendolyn, Gwenners, Gwenhyfar, Blorrrr, and/or Gorn, whichever suits your fancy. I've had this penname for about three years, which is how long I've been on the site, so don't make fun of it, because I was only 13. -3-

I'd have to say that my (very) guilty pleasure is Taylor Swift. Her songs are petty, cliché, and bratty, but... somehow addictive. Don't tell anyone, though. My friends would disembowel me.

Favorite Books: Pretty much anything by Meg Cabot - mainly the Airhead trilogy. Read them. They're gorgeous. I cannot stop loving them, for some reason. My favorite author of all time is Neil Gaiman, author of Coraline (the movie horribly BUTCHERED and SLAUGHTERED that poor book...), Neverwhere, Stardust, The Graveyard Book, The Wolves in the Walls, Mirrormask, American Gods, Anansi Boys, et cetera. Also, I have been a strong fan of Harry Potter for most of my life, and I don't ever plan on giving up on it, no matter how disappointing the epilogue in Deathly Hallows was. I violently loathe Twilight, so if you don't, you'd better not mention it in front of me. I love The Chronicles of Narnia - both the books and the films. My favorite play of all time is Peter Shaffer's Equus. My favorite classic novels of all time are The Great Gatsby and To Kill a Mockingbird. For those of you who haven't read Jonathan Strange and Mister Norrell, you haven't experienced fantastic literature. The Alex Rider series is quite good - nice to have on rainy days if you like good espionage fiction, if which there is little nowadays. I could honestly go on about books forever, so if you're curious, just ask.

Favorite Movies: Les Choristes, one of the best French films I've ever, ever seen. Above all else, however, my favorite films are Hayao Miyazaki's. No joke. Nothing will ever be better than they are in my eyes. Castle in the Sky is my favorite movie, animated or non-animated, ever. Next to Giant and Milk. My other favorites include the Back to the Future trilogy, most of Woody Allen's movies, all of Alfred Hitchcock's movies, all of the Roman Polanski movies that I've seen, Revolutionary Road, East of Eden, Rebel Without a Cause, He Loves Me... He Loves Me Not, Love Actually, Juno, La Vie en Rose, Across the Universe, and loads of 80s movies.

Favorite Music: Oh, jeez, where do I start? Um, Coldplay, Oasis, Sting, the Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Dylan, Damien Rice, Billy Idol, Billy Joel, Train, Belle & Sebastian, Dashboard Confessional, Todd Rundgren, David Gray, Elvis Costello, Daft Punk, Feist, the Fray, Five for Fighting, Huey Lewis, and, admittedly, Taylor Swift. I'm kinda crazy for 50s rock like Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.

Painted With Care: (extended summary) Three months after the Vera Misham case, Apollo thinks that things might finally be getting back to normal. He's had no court cases lately, so he's been rather bored, and having to entertain Trucy all day every day isn't quite his cup of tea. However, things take a turn for the worse right when Apollo isn't ready for it - Luke Atmey, a maniacal killer from one of Phoenix's old cases, escapes from jail - and kidnaps Vera Misham, hoping to force her to copy famous paintings so that he can sell them on the black market. His location, and Vera's with it, is unknown; the police are baffled; and Mr. Wright seems more reluctant to assist Apollo than ever. Apollo is forced to turn to an ex-thief, Ron DeLite, for help, but he'll have to do some slightly illegal things to get the man to trust him. What's a red-clad lawyer to do?

Lost Bird: Spike Spiegel's ghost returns, for one night only, to the Bebop, and realizes something about the life he left behind that he never knew - with a little help from the eccentric Edward. Spike/Ed fluff, but not hugely romantic. Oneshot.
