Author has written 7 stories for Supernatural, Equilibrium, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Superman, Mummy, and Moulin Rouge. I used to be Sile's Child, but that all changed one fateful day... I got bored and decided to come up with a new name. Thus, the Nightarcher was born (da da dummmm...) Yay, that's me! About that... I like reading and writing (duh), and music. The latter may or may not play a large part in the stories I write (once I actually write some, that is). I currently live in several states (two are physical, in the US, and the rest are random parallel dimensions that my mind took it upon itself to create in its spare time... my mind gets bored easily). My imaginary friend Damon says hi. He's cool, but I can only see him on cold nights.I'm very happy to announce that he's no longer restricted to nighttime, although he still prefers cooler weather. And he's slightly more dangerous when he's angry (he tends to get big and hairy, with sharp claws). This is usually when I'm walking my dogs- the loves of my life! I highly suspect that Disney is attemping a global takeover, and anyone who wants to join the resistance should... hears shouting, turns head; speaking to someone you can't see "Oh, I was just trying to recruit... Right. Understood"; turns back to you and wave hands mysteriously... none of this ever happened. We are now returning to our normal programming... I like Supernatural and Firefly, and a whole slew of movies and books that would have you reading for ages (if you're still reading this). I'm currently obsessed with the movie Equilibrium and anything to do with Batman. (This is Christian Bale's fault) I may or may not start a quotes section. If I do, don't read it unless you like Einstein. A lot. I have started a quotes section. What is written here still holds true. It is my ultimate goal to make someone cry without killing any real characters. (By this I mean characters that aren't mine. Personally, I love to kill my own characters. They're quite good at dying.) And that's me. No I'm not going to tell you what two states I live in, whether I'm a guy or a girl (although you could probably eventually figure that out), nor my favorite color. Mwahahaha! That's life. This isn't Walgreens. I swear. Okay, I'm sorry about the story. It just stopped coming out, so I promise to write all chapters of a story before starting to post from now on. I've added an Equilibrium fic, if you're interested, and there's a Supernatural one-shot. I'm also working on a Batman Begins story and (possibly) another Equilibrium one. Until then, read my favorites. But first- Quotes! "You need people of intelligence on this sort of mission... quest... thing."- Peregrin Took; LOTR, Fellowship of the Ring "Gravity cannot be held responsible for people falling in love." -- Albert Einstein "Also, I can kill you with my brain"- River Tam, to a paralytic Jayne; Firefly "So, Reaper? As in Grimm?" "We're marines, Sam, not poets." - Sam and John Grimm; DOOM! (sorry, slightly overobsessed with this movie) "Imagination is more important than knowledge." -- Albert Einstein "I don't wanna explode."- Jayne Cobb; Serenity "Of course, they'll have to be large orders to avoid suspicion." "How large?" "Say, ten thousand." "Well, at least we'll have spares."- Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne; Batman Begins Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio, replied: "Cake or Death?"- Eddie Izzard; what would happen if the Church of England had run the Spanish Inquisition "Man usually avoids attributing cleverness to somebody else "Little soul in a big world. Eat, sleep, and eat... They weren't cows on the ship. They forgot how to be. Now they see sky and they remember."- River Tam, toA Cow, and then to Mal; Firefly "When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours- that's relativity." -- Albert Einstein "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die?"- Hoban Washburn, after being asked to 'define interesting'- Serenity "If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"-- Albert Einstein "Problems with the graphite mixture. The next ten thousand will be up to specification." "At least they gave us a discount." "Quite. In the meantime, might I suggest you try to avoid landing on your head?"- Alfred Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne; Batman Begins "Dear Buddha, please bring me a pony and a little plastic rocket..."- Malcolm Reynolds; Serenity "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." --Albert Einstein "My food is problematic."- River Tam; Firefly "Would you like a banana?"- Eddie Izzard "What really interests me is whether God had any choice in the creation of the world." --Albert Einstein "I'm a leaf on the wind; watch me soar."- Hoban Washburn; Serenity "That fabric softener teddy bear... ooh, I'm gonna hunt that little (censored) down."- Dean Winchester; Supernatural "I can't believe you shot Casper in the face."- Sam Winchester; Supernatural "No, no, no!You can't climb the mountain to ask the magic toast about your future because it isn't Tuesday!"- my slightly insane friend Ben, on the implications of meeting the magic toast. (If you've ever heard the Magic Toenail song, he's the one who wrote it). "Day Three: Cat rang bell, and I started to salivate."- Eddie Izzard; from the skit Pavlov's Cats "And he said unto them, should you change these words, I shall poke you with the finger of the Almightly God, and you shall go BOOM and... stuff."- Me, after midterms and very little sleep, during a theological comparison in my World History class. "...and if you eat too many, you get gummi tummy. I can't believe I'm actually saying this."- Jensen Ackles, on the Dangers of Gummi Bears | |||||||
