Author has written 61 stories for Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, and Hobbit. AUTHOR'S NOTES Archiving: Please do not archive my stories without permission. You may feel free to recommend my stories on your profile or forums and include links to here. Please enjoy my artwork but do not take and/or use. This includes altering in any fashion, including cropping, and/or using for avatars. That is theft and not kewl. Borrowing: I recognize that my stories are a form of derivative fiction based on the works of JRR Tolkien. However, I'm also very possessive of specific ideas, plot lines and original characters. Please ask before borrowing. Plagiarism will not be tolerated! Updating: I strive to post completed works, however, some works in progress (WIPs) may be posted as they are being written. In general I wait until 60-100 percent of a story is written before posting the first chapter. I retain the right to deviate from this policy as I see fit, but also respect that readers do not like to be left hanging for months on end. I will make every effort to complete all stories. Review replies: I am an admitted review collector, and reviews are greatly desired and appreciated!! I try to reply to all reviews in a timely manner, however, sometimes real life prevents me from replying right away. I would like to thank all those who have taken the time to review and leave both praise and friendly constructive criticism. Harsh, snarky or flame reviews will be completely ignored and the reviewer may be banned. I feel that even negative input can be phrased in a polite and friendly manner. Beta reading: I am currently unable to take any beta reading requests. RL is far too complicated at the moment. The Undying Friendship Series (UFS) - Stories of friendship, humor, mystery, angst, adventure, even some romance. All stories in this series are in the same story arc, and often are sequels or prequels to other tales in the series. The common denominator is this is the author's series that sticks the closest to canon and the series that she builds on. Most of the author's writing fits into this series unless otherwise noted. A Chronological List of Stories in the UFS can be found by clicking the link. Heart of the Elvenking (HotE) - A series of vignettes that focus on Thranduil in his role as a father and king. This series is closely connected to my Undying Friendship Series and is a character study on Thranduil. Some stories may be slightly AU to the UFS. Find The Sun (FtS) - A collection of short ficlets set in the UFS. The title comes from a quote by Legolas in FotR: "I go to find the sun." The significance in the UFS is the parable Legolas teaches to Aragorn in the story 'Instruction in Youth' that weaves an underlying theme throughout the series: Look to the sun and the shadows fall behind you. There's No Knowing Where You Might Be Swept Off To (TNK) - A collection of unrelated stand alone ficlets that don't seem to belong anywhere else. Golden Lord of Gondolin (GLoG) - A series of ficlets and vignettes set in the 'Surviving Death' universe and centering on Glorfindel and his life in Imladris, especially his relationship to Aragorn/Estel. Unrelated to any of my other series, these shorts are character studies based on a WIP I am currently writing. A Light From The Shadows Shall Spring (LFS) - A collection of poetry based on Tolkien's writings from humorous to serious and some in between. The Greenwood Prince Series (GPS) - the story of Legolas and Cellinn from their romance to their growing family as well as the many rather ridiculous situations that arise in the Greenwood. Series is set stretching from the early 3rd Age into the 4th.
